So, I'm using this to go in a bag and just stop the camera from being beaten up and for that purpose it's upto the task, with a nice soft lining... It's a the case I'm actively using as such.although I'd argue it isn't a "Hard" case, while it is stiff it's still plyable so it's the camera itself is what supplies the rigidity, but it's certainly up to the job of stopping it being battered around inside another bag and realistically if the camera got damaged inside this case you probably have bigger problems to worry about.However, it's advertised as fitting the X5 & they show photos of it hanging on a carabiner clip off someone's bag etc and I could think of nothing worse, with some jiggling (video included) despite being zipped up the camera (X5 in my case) can/will fall out the bottom of the case with ease, I noticed this within moments of unpacking it.So overall nice, upto the job I'm using it for but there's no way I'd use this as a standalone travel case.
