Versatile size, good for splitting wood for campfire, trimming branches in the garden or practising various bushcraft tasks.The axe has a pretty good heft and the handle length makes it very comfortable to use. Short enough so you can use it one handed, but long enough that you can put some extra power with two handed grip.I can't find any info about the material the handle is made from, but it feels like some kind of nice quality resin/plastic. I don't think it's fibreglass, but for a hatchet this size I'm not too concerned with durability. I really like the dark orange colour, making it easier to see on the ground.Overall, I really like this hatchet, it will come very useful on our family camping trips.

This is pretty straightforward, a small-ish camping axe/hatchet. It is reasonably light weight but feels quite solid. The grip on it is quite decent. The edge on it is reasonably sharp. I do appreciate that it is quite solid-feeling, one always worried about getting stuck with aluminum or whatever buying without trying it first. I guess we will have to see how it stands up to sustained use but on initial inspection it is quite nice and I look forward to having it around for small tasks.

Very light but not to effective to cut thick wood. It's ok I will say. But not what I wanted to cut with.
