The titles of this review is indeed fact, I expected to hate this game, I did for the first 15 or so hours, then, it all just sorta clicks, one thing at a time. I had actually zero relation with any characters, (except playing and hating db xenoverse 2 and fighters,) it's turned out to be the most awesome, epic game , learning the mechanics and improving is addictive as heck, online is the only thing to really play for, where, unbalanced characters, starting with a health bar more than your character, with unblockable 50% life ratings supers are always played by people, they can't stand losing, or , fun and lack skill, but, screw them, become good with a none OP character.The majority of players using these characters must be children.Since this released, I've watched a few episodes, now know all the characters and am also playing DB kakarot! Played 57 hours of this, I normally don't get passed 5 hours on anything.Definitely worth it !10/10

I recommend it to any Dragon Ball fan. This game is so well made, I enjoy playing Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and as the 4th instalment of the Budokai Tenkaichi series, it lives up to the hype. Buy the game. So many hours of enjoyment, 182 characters to play as, epic ranked matches online and more. You will be amazed at the quality of the game as well, you can clearly tell how much effort the devs put in Sparking ZERO. 🙌🙌🙌

So this game is Budokai Tenchachi 4 with a new name. But that means nothing at this point.I’m strongly In the returning to DBZ after playing the OG PS2 games camp. However this game is a great return or introduction to Dragonball games.For newbies and pros alike I’d suggest this:It’s worth doing the combat training to learn the mechanics. There’s a fair bit to know and the game doesn’t treat you with baby steps.Pros:The story mode whilst not a patch on original BT games, does have some cool stuff, including what if sagas. It follows all stories from Z to SuperA good roster of characters from OG Dragonball to the latest Super series. With DLCs incoming.The tournaments are great to play and you can customise your own to add some spice.Looks great and plays great, no complaints here.Cons:Story mode can feel a bit a short and again doesn’t hold your hand with difficulty (there is an easy mode but you can’t do what if paths if you do)Online at the point of the this review is very much everyone picks the meta and you need to be good to win (obviously)Being a OG Dbz fan, I find the new voice acting a bit subpar but that’s me being nitpicky and annoying haha!Defo worth a purchase for fans new and old and sharing your energy with Goku for the first or 1000th time.

Great game with excellent graphics and over a 100 character to choose from definitely for fans of dragon ball z budokai series. Play though different characters campaigns including goku, vegeta and frieza. Play online in ranked and unranked matches

Pros:GraphicsAmount of playable charactersBeautiful mapsCons:Story modeCombat systemLacks of customizationNot enough to do after completing the story mode.Lacks of mapsI am disappointed by this game, I was hyped by the trailers and I was not satisfied by the end result.The devs also seem to not care about the game even though they "worked" on the game for 5 years.
