Der "Ghost" fürs Gelände
Ich habe "Brooks-Füße", soll heißen, dass mir die meisten Brooks-Schuhe sehr gut passen, weil sie vorne etwas breiter geschnitten sind und die Ferse eher schmal, angenehm gepolstert und mit gutem Fersenhalt (bis auf den Ghost 16, der ist mir zu eng und ging damals retour; ebenso der Catamount 4).Nach diversen Schuhen der Modelle Ghost, Adrenalin und Launch bin ich diesmal beim Cascadia 18 gelandet und bin begeistert. Der Cascadia 18 ist der Ghost 15 für den leichten bis mittelschweren Trail (Wald, Schotterwege...) mit allen Vorzügen des Ghost. Wem der Ghost passt und was fürs Geländelaufen sucht, der kann hier bedenkenlos zugreifen.Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich nach so kurzer Verwendungszeit noch nicht viel sagen. Aber da ich die Vorgänger-Brooks jeweils bis über 1000 km gelaufen bin (bis auf den Launch), zweifle ich auch nicht daran, dass der Cascadia 18 ebenso lange halten wird.Ich habe Schuhgröße EU 43 bei Straßenschuhen und kaufe bei Brooks die Größe EU 44, bzw. US 10, UK 9 und sie passen sehr gut. Wer gerne dicke Socken trägt (Falke RU3 o. ä.) der könnte es auch mit einer halben Nummer größer versuchen.Fazit: Sitzt, passt und hat Luft ;-) ergibt volle 5 SterneNur Eines hat mich massiv an der Lieferung gestört: Der an mich gelieferte Cascadia 18 wurde sichtbar bereits im Freien verwendet, zwar passabel gereinigt, jedoch immer noch sichtbar (siehe Fotos). So etwas als Neuware zu verkaufen ist frech! Verkauf durch: "Bolo EU S.a.r.L."
Fersenbereich zu Empfindlich - Material scheuert sehr schnell durch
An sich ein bequemer und toller Trailrunner Schuh. Nur leider ist das Fersenobermaterial im Schuhe zu empfindlich und nach einer Laufleistung von noch nicht mal 100km durch. Dieses war bei meinem Vorgängerpaar das selbe Problem.Trotz größter Achtsamkeit auf Dreckeintrag, hat es doch nicht gehalten.Daher von mir definitiv keine Kaufempfehlung, auch wenn ich eigentlich Brooks fan bin.
