Purchased as the PC is used on a simracing rig and can't use it for other type of games due to the driving rig itself.Have a spare a gaming laptop around but it's way less powerfuland also felt somewhat a waste to use a full gaming desktop just for a niche of games (despite the full fledged rig).As I wanted to play FPS or other games (plus some video editing in Davinci Resolve), I thought an extended cable to a desk to connect another monitor as a separate workstation.The cable is quite thick and robust, which is great as it means it won't break the connection after some handling.Sheel of connector is aluminium.I was a little bit concerned about the stability of the signal as I purchased the 7m.I measured beforehand just to be sure I was meeting the minimum exact length and avoid potentially going with the 10m (which increases chances of signal dropping out), and the 7 meters was more than enough.What I can say, 3840x2160, 60hz at 10bit (RGB signal), works flawlessly. No drop outs, no tearing.Great product and the price it's quite fair in my opinion.The picture quality is flawless, no glitches, artifacts.As with every cable (especially the longer ones), it's better to handle with care and avoid sharp curves or bending.It'll last for a long time.

Price when reviewed: £ 6.49 for 2M cable.This DisplayPort cable is described above as 16K but the plug at each end is stamped 8K. I don’t currently have any 8K equipment, so have only tested it with 4K PC to 4K monitor.I ordered this cable as I also like to use my monitor for console gaming and wanted to use DisplayPort for either the PC or console to avoid using an HDMI switch.I first tried using the cable with the PC and as everything worked as expected I left the console connected via HDMI.I like that the cable is Rated higher than my kit and is, therefore, future proof, for a while anyway.
