Am not too sure how this is supposed to be specifically useful for the task of removing broken plastic tips and shafts. It has a shaped metal bit inside, which may or may not be meant to dig into plastic to get it turning. When tried out on some plastic tips as depicted in the product listing, I didn't find this thing to be particularly easy or useful. As long as some of the tip sticks out, then fingers alone or if necessary a pair of pliers, could unscrew the broken piece easily enough. At best this tool was awkward to use and failed to achieve a level of convenience.

I bought this because someone used my darts and broke the stem, inside the base. It didn't remove it, barly got around base.

Currently priced at £3.99 this little tool makes light work of removing broken plastic/nylon shafts.Pop the device over the broken end and turn counter clockwise with a little pressure and ta da out comes the broken part 😲😁An absolute must buy for any darts player if your using plastic/nylon stems and at that price why wouldn't you have this in your darts accessories 🤔

Decent build quality. The size is quite small and conveniently portable.
To be honest, I haven't needed to use this yet, as I haven't had any breaks since acquiring it. However, build quality seems good. It's small and convenient to pack up or throw on a keyring. Easy enough to set it somewhere near a board as well. A very simple straight forward design. Given that it seems well built enough, I would anticipate it should do the trick? But again, have not needed to use it yet so can only really comment on the build quality thus far and the convenience of the sizing.Likes:- Convenient size for portability.- Small enough for a keychain.- Decent build materials.Dislikes:- It is a very simple device, so the issues it's going to be able to solve are obviously limited. It's not a fix all, but more of a fix a certain situation.
Pequeña y muy útil herramienta
Una herramienta metálica, pequeña y muy útil para retirar las puntas de plástico o las cañas traseras que se han partido.Lleva una cadenita para poderlo llevar colgando en el llavero, de forma que te aseguras que siempre lo llevas encima.Tiene la superficie de agarre rugosa para tener una buena adherencia a los dedos y poder así girar la herramienta y hacer girar la rosca de lo que se haya quedado enroscado en el dardo, ya sea una punta partida o una caña partida.Muy útil, de verdad. La recomiendo.
