An Extraordinary device with many features that are on units at double the price. 5*****Discreet quality made cellular ~Night / ~Day security transmitter / Camera .~Picture Quality is good whether colour or Black and whiteSensitivity is good but it is crucial to set the camera up at a correct height and angle for the best use for your own purposes -Need time to play with all the features / settings which we found fun.Customer After Sales is simply superb - Thank you Kiki.So this is NOT WI-FI connectivity - however the gamechanger for us is that it operates on 4g Cellular - so if the area the camera is located in can pick up a 4G signal you can choose to watch from anywhere in the world using your mobile phone if your cellular mobile phone uses 4G connectivity.Battery Life : This will be variable dependant on whether you have the setting on 'Live' or the unit on sleep mode with a choice of 3 'sensitivity alarms' to sent to the App you download on to your mobile phone.In order to send to your mobile phone the unit requires Top up Data on the supplied nano sim Card using EIOT or videos can be captured on TF card (not supplied ) up to 128gb or via subscription on a cloud service, with various options for holding this data.You will need to purchase these separately and most are on a monthly basis for a few pounds. Should you not wish to use the unit then simply purchase data when you do.Some may consider this expensive however it will provide Live coverage as long as the Xega unit has power from innteral rechargeable battery or supplied through a USB cable (supplied) linked to a mains USB charger , or say a small powerbank or Larger type powerbank if in a remote Off grid location.Our unit supplies about 3 days of power without being recharged however this is on LIve feed - With trigger only we think it could supply up to 6 weeks of power without any rechargeable boost required.For night time it can be adjusted and set to receive Black and white using infra red - The LED light can be turned OFF or you can view images in colour . For the latter there is a white light that would warn intruders that there was a surveillance device so mounting location is important.Distance proximity pick up is about 30 feet dependant on size of 'Target' and sensitivity to detect using 3 sensitivty settings .There is a lag of connectivity back to cellular phone if in a weak 4G area by a few seconds - We expected this.You can receive audio from the unit say from a human voice and also you can speak to them.You can set the Unit to verbally warn a 'Target' automatically or choose not to do so and also whether this will be with a light from the camera on the 'Target' or not.You can also opt to place the unit on 'Silent notification' to you without the 'Target' knowing. You could talk to the unit should you wish and there are separate Volume controls for you to use for the unit in receive and talk mode.So why did we purchase ? For a campervan security.We can set up on the campervan or set up looking at the campervan in a remote location .Set up options can be at a remote distance from the campervanOn the Campervan roof or inside the campervan if there is a 4G signal.The user guide is not particularly good in our opinion , however the after sales support is excellent from Kiki. She always responded within about 12 hours - Super service. Thank you.We are still trying all the features and hope this helps and will update where necessary.For us and the intended use this is a wonderful product at a Great price with superfast after sales support .Also it is weatherproof so can be used outdoors - probably best protected a little.Is there a negative - The Verbal proximity alarm is not very loud and is very short just for a few seconds and features a human voice and Buzzer - we have turned this feature off.We will update and re-edit should we find more pertinent info,

Device is great return on investment. Ease of Setup is one of the key feature. This device had SIM based connectivity and worked well in good network coverage area. Customer support is also excellent, and questions were answered promptly and to the point. Kiki has been great tech support and greatly appreciated !!

this is actually working great to keep an eye on my mum, who has dementia. i have set it up so me and 3 others can check in anytime to see and hear what is going on. bought an sd card too, so it triggers when something sets it off and we can check back to see what happened. the 300 Mb that vame with it didnt last a couple of days, but bought a monthly pack, which was easy to do and was available straight away. battery lasts about a week or less, wish that was a little longer, or that we could plug it into a mains socket permeantly, but its not designed to be left permanenlty plugged in. great device though, very happy with it.

If you need to monitor an area that doesnt have Wi-Fi this is a great solution, and yes it does work with Lebabra SIMs, just make sure you reset the camera first and then it will download the correct settings for Lebara data... Lebara always have large data SIMs for a pound deals, just swap for another Lebara deal when the deals ends!

Tiene un buen precio para el servicio que da. Nos costó un poco activarla, porque lo estábamos haciendo a distancia con la ayuda de un familiar y resulta que es necesario que la configuración inicial se haga por Bluetooth junto a la cámara.Como puntos a mejorar diría:- La tarjeta de datos que trae podría ser más barata (12 euros al mes).- Tengo otra cámara wifi más barata e incluye detección de ruidos.- Debería también traer la opción de usar con wifi.

Great camera, works very well and is easy to install. If you have a problem or a question, the customer service is very easy to contact and is very helpful. I personally use it to watch my horses and the night view and lamp, make it very easy to see what they’re up to.

Cela faisait longtemps que je cherchais un système autonome, fonctionnant sur batterie et indépendant du Wi-Fi, pour surveiller des lieux éloignés de chez moi. Cette caméra, connectée via le réseau 4G, correspond enfin à ce que j’attendais depuis des années — merci à Xega de l’avoir conçue !Je l’utilise depuis plus d’un mois maintenant, et le bilan est très positif. L’appareil est stable, fiable et de très bonne qualité. Franchement, c’est du solide ! On peut même l’installer au fond des bois, dans un chalet ou une résidence secondaire, c’est dire sa praticité.Le service après-vente est également au rendez-vous : une personne nommée Kiki m’a aidé avec efficacité et rapidité, ce qui mérite d’être souligné.Je recommande ce produit sans hésitation. J’en ai d’ailleurs acheté deux. L’abonnement annuel 4G est raisonnable côté tarif.À voir sur le long terme, mais pour l’instant, je suis pleinement satisfait !Ps: La batterie interne de la caméra tient +/- 2-3 semaines (dépend de l'utilisation), mais vous pouvez la branchée sur une batterie externe (PowerBank) pour étendre sa durée de fonctionnement.L'app android est très bien conçue, stable et facile d'utilisation.

Peace of Mind Without Wi-Fi

I bought the Xega 4G indoor camera for a property without Wi-Fi, and it’s been a great solution. It works flawlessly with a SIM card and doesn’t rely on an internet connection, which is exactly what I needed.The video quality is excellent, both day and night. Motion detection is accurate, and the alerts come through quickly on my phone. I was also impressed by the two-way audio—it’s clear and useful for checking in or speaking to someone on-site.Setup was simple through the app, and the camera has a sleek, compact design that doesn’t stand out too much indoors. If you need reliable security in a location with poor or no internet, this is definitely worth the investment.

Eine hervorragende Kamera, deren Akku nun schon seit sechs Wochen nachts im Dauereinsatz durchhält. Es ist immer noch halb voll. Der Cloud Service funktioniert super, auch die Internetverbindung über die interne Karte ist hervorragend. Wir bewegen uns ständig zwischen Deutschland und der Schweiz hin und her und selbst in grenznahen Bereich mit stellenweise schlechten Mobilfunknetz ist die Kamera immer erreichbar. Beim Wechsel zu einer zweiten Kamera gab es kurz ein Problem mit dem Cloud Speicher Service. (Mein Abo war irgendwie verschwunden)Dieser wurde jedoch durch Xega (Mitarbeiterin, Kiki) innerhalb kürzester Zeit hervorragend und problemlos gelöst und durch eine Erneuerung auf ein weiteres Jahr kostenfreisofort wieder hergestellt. Auf diesem Weg wurde mir auch gleich noch eine Garantieverlängerung auf drei Jahre kostenfrei angeboten und auch hinterlegt. Die Kamera und der Kundenservice von Xega übertreffen meine Erwartungen bei weitem.Ich kann nicht verstehen, warum andere in Rezessionen von einem Kartenwechsel für das Mobilfunknetz sprechen, da Xega hier einen super Service (netzübergreifend)für sehr wenig Geld anbietet.
