I'd been wanting to try NAC for ages but didn't know where to start with brands. Was really happy this one launched, as it's a brand I already know and trust. As I'm used to with their products, this one's totally pure and high quality. So far I've noticed an increase in focus/ clarity and also my recovery times from exercise have improved (love geeking out on that via my Oura ring, but it's also been noticeable).

At first, I loved this supplement. It seemed to give me tremendous focus and concentration on a level I’d never had. And it seemed to be effective very quickly.I felt fantastic and was working much more efficiently than ever before.I did a lot of research on NAC before I bought this and the general consensus was that you have to give it time to work. But with me, it was very fast.This one seems to be one of the purest NAC supplements out there and I was very happy with it. However, after using it once a day for about 5 weeks, I started having really alarming heart symptoms.I had really severe palpitations that were happening randomly, regardeless of activity.I was getting them while at rest as much as while moving. At 69, I am very fit and active, not on any medication and have not been near a doctor in well over 5 years. I walk at least 5 miles a day up and down hills with no problem.So this was completely out of whack for me and I knew something was wrong. There were moments when I really felt as if my heart might just stop.My heart rhythm became really unstable.My blood pressure has always been on the lower side but suddenly, it seemed as if it was quite high.It was terrifying because I would never go to hospital unless I was unconscious and someone else made that decision!After several days of this, it dawned on me it could be the NAC so I did further research and found that in a small number of people, it can adversely affect the heart.So I stopped the NAC immediately. It’s now been about two weeks since I had any and the symptoms have gradually decreased.The scary thing is, my heart function didn’t go back to normal straight away. It’s about 98% back to how it should be but not quite there.I found other people online asking how long it takes for the heart to settle down after a bad reaction to NAC - so it isn’t just me.I think this brand is very good as long as you aren’t one of the unlucky ones who will react the way I did.So please be careful when taking it - watch out for palpitations and stop the same day if you get any.I am really annoyed because the good effects of this are amazing but they have diminished now along with the heart symptoms.I wonder if I need a lower dose but I was only taking one a day anyway.Maybe I could have done once a week and increased to a comfortable dose that didn’t affect my heart.But, I am too scared to take it again.

I've been using NAC for a while now after learning it supports heavy metal detox, so I was excited when this brand launched their own. Since I already use some of their other products, I decided to make the switch. They're made in the UK, always clean, with no fillers, which gives me peace of mind. I've noticed a positive difference and I'm really happy with the quality. Highly recommend!
