This is my first time drinking anything other that the usual black tea and a green tea so this is very different for me. The flavour is a little sour and bitter for my taste which I definitely needed to get used to but with a spoon of sugar it’s pleasant. The smell is lovely, and it’s definitely worth the money for the amount you get out of it. Would definitely buy again

It's interesting seeing the comments of other reviewers regarding the sweetness of this brew. The reaction goes from "way too sweet" to "far too bitter" In reality, we all have different tastes, and sweetness is entirely subjective. I never drink sugar in tea or coffee, and to my taste buds, which have been weened off the stuff, this tea is more than sweet enough, courtesy of all the raisons in there.The taste is complex, and a mix of fruit and floral notes. It's something to be enjoyed on a summers day, and I rather like it, in smaller quantities. More would risk becoming cloying, for me anyway. Make the mistake of steeping it too long, or with too much leaf, and you'll get a less delicate and fruity, more bitter and woody tasting brew. I advise beginning weak, and adding strength until you find your perfect balance.I brew this tea with hot rather than boiling water, and I think the latter would destroy some of the complexities of taste, and delicate aromas. It definitely has a pronounced and interesting scent, and this has an effect on taste perception too, so it's best not spoiled.The one thing I don't quite approve of is the addition of "natural aroma" aka manufactured flavour. I much prefer my teas to be flavoured with herbs, rather than so-called nature identical flavourings. If this was, I'd be awarding a full five stars.

Brewed volume: 240mlTea used: 1½ TSPBrew temperature: 75°CBrew time: 10 minutesThe aroma of this leaf tea is really powerful. It has very strong fruity smells to it (as you would expect) and it's really quite interesting. I immediately wanted to get it brewing and taste what I was smelling. I brewed the correct amount of tea and water for the time specified on the packaging and there was a definite pink hue to the tea by the time you'd finished brewing. However, the flavour didn't match the colour. I found it was a very, very subtle flavour and actually quite bitter which is unusual as I'm somebody who regularly drinks black coffee without any sugar or milk. So I would have thought that a tea wouldn't be so bitter as to get a reaction out of me. However, with this particular fruit tea, perhaps because my brain was expecting sweetness, I found it very bitter. I added one teaspoon of granulated sugar to the tea at which point the flavour developed a lot more. The sweetness came alive, but it still wasn't anywhere near as flavoursome as the scent would have made you expect.Overall, I'm disappointed because I was brewing it for 10 minutes. I can't see how bring it for any longer than that would get any further flavour out of the fruits and spices used.
