I quite often buy Philip Jones jewellery as they’re beautiful, and this necklace is no different. It’s small, just like I wanted, but it sparkles and looks much more expensive than it is. It’s perfect for every day wear or to wear on special occasions. The quality is great and it’s really good value for money.

This is a pretty necklace of decent quality. Having worn it fairly regularly for about half a year now, I haven't noticed signs of tarnishing, and the lobster clasp is still easily opened, so it appears to be at least fairly durable given that I haven't always treated it particularly carefully. It is a nice length, and I appreciate it being adjustable.I have found the pendant to be a good size. The crystal is about 6mm and, from what I can tell, it has not chipped or scratched. It is a tiny bit less shiny than in the pictures, but it still sparkles nicely and is not noticeably dull.The only thing knocking it down one star for me is the chain. While it may not be particularly noticeable, I would have preferred the chain to have been slightly finer. There isn't anything objectively wrong with this; I just personally found the daintiness of the pendant does not particularly suit the chain. I recently started wearing the pendant with a chain from another necklace and wear the chain with a bigger pendant (chain in pictures is the one it originally arrived with). This appears to be the typical type of chain used for such necklaces at this price and from this seller. It isn't too much of a problem, and the necklace still looks good as sold.The other thing was that a lot of the links when the necklace arrived came stuck together. From the picture, you can see the 'lines' that form when trying to make it curve. The bigger ones are easier to break up, but once you get to two connected links, they're quite difficult to separate. I presume this is a result of the plating process. It isn't particularly noticeable when I am wearing it, and it does not cause me any physical discomfort.Overall I think this necklace is of a good quality considering the relatively low cost. If I were buying it again, I may be willing to spend a bit more money on a finer chain. That said, this is a perfectly nice option for those on a budget or prefer this chain thickness, and it is a product that I would recommend.

A clear solitaire Zircondia® crystal on a sterling silver chain. I was a little disappointed with the size of the crystal - it's approximately 5-7mm across. The length of the fine cable chain is approximately 22cm from the lobster clasp to the top of the crystal - as the necklace is so fine, the small clasp is quite fiddly to negotiate, so if you have someone on hand to help you with this bit, all the better. The necklace comes in a little plastic pouch with Philip Jones branding, which can be placed in the little grey drawstring bag (which is also branded), so the item comes ready for gifting if that is your intention. I am reviewing this item as part of Bolo's Vine programme - the current price of this item is £7.99, which is probably reflective of the smaller sized crystal. Overall, this is a pretty, dainty item - ladies who like this kind of jewellery would be happy to receive this as a gift I'm sure, as it is classy and classic.
