After many years I abandoned my small, old fashioned dial scales and went digital, choosing this one which allows weights up to 30kg/66 lbs (the readings can be switched between kgs and libs), and a flat weighing surface, so no more struggling with large items or departing to the post office for the heavier items, as well as no problems with very lightweight packages (even envelopes), all shown clearly on the LCD display.Besides office work, it’s also very useful for kitchen use and can be powered by batteries or from the mains. Solidly made and very accurate in the weighing, I’m very pleased with the purchase.

The media could not be loaded. This is perfect for my baking as it allows not only to weigh small amounts of ingredients but also large cakes which before was quite difficult for me to understand what their actual weight is.The actual scale is not too big but it offers a convenient solution to place large objects and each time it gives a proper and accurate measure.It is very convenient for me as I can switch between the options of grams, kilograms, ounces and liters and this way I can have the perfect measurement for my ingredients and my final product.This scale is also good to count small items, so for example if I have cupcakes, I would just measure them individually and I'd have the final weight at the end which is also very convenient.I do like the versatility and efficiency of this scale and it is definitely helping me in the kitchen.

Really easy to use and so light. Pleased we bought these rather than a more expensive set as work perfectly and seem accurate, only thing I will say is I saw a review saying the display stays on so you can see if you are weighing larger boxes - it doesn't, but the display is angled slightly so you can still see it. Would recommend.
