Well the description says 100 test strips which is what i wanted. But it came with 2 boxes of lancets too which I did not want so as they are not on the description I don't know if it's the right package

I am not diabetic nor any of my close family but we wanted to get checked once in a while and going to a GP is quite a hassle nowadays. Therefore, this little device is actually fantastic.It is full kit for 25 check ups so for my family it will last for a while especially we won't do it every day. It also comes with a slightly too small and flimsy case so if you traveling you might be careful where you put it in as it might get damaged easily.The pen to pierce your finger is good quality and work great and you have few levels of the depth it pierce it through.If you follow instructions it is super easy to do the check up. Everything is designed in the way that to dispose the blood covered needle and test strips you don't even need to touch them as there are buttons to eject them straight into the bin.Accuracy:I have no idea about that as I don't have anything to compare the readings of my sugar levels to therefore, I can't say anything about its accuracy, unfortunately. I have to trust this device that it is fairly accurate and shows fairly correct readings.For home use it is perfect way to check occasionally your sugar levels. For everyday use for diabetic people it will be good too as it is very small and easy to do. Accuracy might have to be confirmed with some more professional devices preferably in the hospital or GP and then it could be great device to use. Otherwise, you have to trust the manufacturer that it is accurate as they describe.Obviously, when you run out of needles and test strips you have to buy them. It will definitely save you trips to a GP or hospital as long as this device is checked for its accuracy especially when you have diabetes.I think it is well worth it for home use and good device to have.

Unfortunately this model of Sinocare is not accurate or reliable and is in actual fact dangerous. I compared results using this item (Sinocare safe AQ Pro I) to a brand new GlucoRx meter which is a NHS supplied/prescribed item and comes with control solution to verify its accuracy. The results of the Sinocare were 2.3 units higher, than the GlucoRX, so a reading of 6.9 was in actual fact 4.6, there is normally a tolerance of error but this is far too much. Even with back to back repeated tests the results would vary by a few units, just as other have mentioned. should be withdrawn from sale
