Good value for money.Fairly quiet, and needs to be for an en-suite! Went in well enough.What I didn’t like was that the backdraft flaps are mounted so that they project into the duct when they open (by the fan operating). Our duct has been poorly made and flaps catch against the side so I’ve had to force them open with the help of a long screw driver. So now, we when the wind blows, the draught comes in. Also I’m hoping we won’t get insects coming in too. Therefore I shall be looking for extractors with the flaps set further back into its tube (or alternatives). 1 star deducted for design flaw.

Pretty quiet when running and clears the bathroom of steam ok, quite easy to install so long as you have the hole already. Looks good and build quality is first rate, functional piece of gear.

The Anesty 4” Bathroom Extractor Fan with Timer arrived the next day.The extractor fan was well packed and looked well built it came with fitting and instructions.I used this to replace a fan that had gone wrong in the bathroom it was easy to fit with the included fittings .It worked very well and I adjusted the timer to suit also I found the fan to be a lot quieter then the old one I replaced and we are very pleased with it.

Nice piece of kit, can be wired in for timer or movement sensor. Neat tidy and looks great. Easy replacement for original fans, also has built in non-return flaps
3.0 out of 5 stars Can't install it where it would be exposed to water, and no ceiling either, but has motion sensor.
The media could not be loaded. I dislike how it couldn't replace my ceiling ventilation in the bathroom, I was able to move the fan, it sounds quiet enough, much more quiet than my ceiling ventilation, but this has to go on the wall with new cables coming through, and in a place with no moisture. Think the only thing I liked was the motion sensor, it comes on when it detects you at a distance. Automatically turns off.In the manual it says it doesn't work in:--Never install the fan onto the ceiling, or place where it would be exposed to water, so shower/bath area out of the question, and cannot replace my old ventilation on the ceiling. This has to go on the wall only, and away from water. Shame it's not water resistant, if it would go on ceiling and be waterproof, I would have rated 5, think this has potential to be good, if it can fix the limitations where you can put it.Suggest if you get it, before installing, if you don't know what your doing, you need an electrician or handyman who knows how to cut in the wall, and put the cables in the right screw holes. I will update if it breaks down in the future.

I was very pleased to receive this product, at the time I received it, it was priced at £24.99 and I consider this to be good value for money. It was well packaged.I used this to replace my old fan. Very easy to fit - didn't need to change the timer and is quieter than the old one - I'm pleased!I recommend this product!
Timer function only seems to work with dual power supply.

Even worse, there is then some delay before the fan starts to rotate, so you are just better off with simple non-timer model. The contact points are tiny (a major struggle to get copper-braided wires in), with tiny screws, and located close to other wires. Finally, some comments here appear to refer to a different model with motion detection. Otherwise, nice, powerful and silent fan.

Straight forward swap for old one 3 wires woth timer. A bit unclear on timer setting but overall decent for the price very quiet might pirchase more
