I bought this to cut through them having given up with my breaker bar. The blades that come with it are more like samples. Buy what you need. I got some cobalt bimetallic blades. Very thin and flexible for a perfect easy cut. The saw itself is excellent. I spent a weekend with it cutting dozens of bolts. Piece of cake. Extremely pleased with it. Very easy to use. Nice and sturdy.

I've only given it 4 stars at present, because i've not really had a chance to use it much.I've sawn a small amount of wood up, and i have to say it worked a treat.It did feel a little heavy at first, but it feels fine once you've used it a few times.I'm certain that had i used it more, i would be rating it 5 stars.

This is NOT a tool for professionals who need a machine that can work for eight hours straight through. For occasional Diyers like myself it is more than ample, pick the correct blade for the job and this will cope with almost anything if not forced.

Bought this 2 days ago for a fencing job I was doing could have spent a £100 more on a well known brand glad I didn’t it did the job without a problem and saved me so much time

The item returned on time, I have used on 2 small jobs and on the second job the safety switched failed and I am getting a strong burning smell from the motor, I am unable to find away to return the item. I would not reccomend this item

OK for roots and branches up to 2 inches but anything thicker and it labours and needs quite a bit of force applying to make a cut. Also, there is very heavy vibration when cutting and more than I am comfortable with and I wouldn't want to use this for long periods. So OK on the smaller stuff and in short bursts.
