5.0 out of 5 stars Not cheap, but outstanding quality

What a great piece of running tech! Great fit (and I wear glasses too); setup very straightforward; USB-C charging is sensible. Battery life seems good - although there isn’t the detailed info on % charge that comes with Powerbeats Pro unless you download and open the SHOKZ app. They seem very solid and robust. And - the sound? Terrific - and to be honest gave my beats a run for their money. And all while maintaining awareness of surrounding cars, busses, runners etc. The app has some great EQ settings including for speech and extra bass.Used them for a 10K race yesterday and got a PB. These SHOKZ can’t claim all the credit, but the crisp sound quality and rich bass helped power me up the final hill!Recommended and while not very cheap, these are very good quality and I feel much safer wearing them when running.
5.0 out of 5 stars not just for activity, quality sound
what amazed me is how enjoyable these are to listen to just as standard headphones, music sounds open and fresh, as if you were at a personal high quality concert. I turned the bass eq levels up a little and played dark side of the moon - worth the money just to experience your favourite music in a new way. treble and mids particularly clear. when I cupped my hand around my ears the quality was really good too, all sorts of new ways of hearing the music. oh, they were great on my cycle today. sure wind rush noise is not cancelled but sound is pretty good, id never previously wanted to wear headphones before for safety reasons. .
5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Headphones – Perfect for Runners!
I bought these SHOKZ OpenRun Pro 2 Mini headphones for my fiancé, who is a keen runner, and she was very impressed with them! The open-ear design is a game changer—she loves how it lets her stay aware of her surroundings while still delivering great sound quality. The Bluetooth 5.3 connection is solid, and the noise-canceling mics work well for taking calls on the go. The 12-hour battery life is excellent, and the USB-C quick charge feature means they’re always ready when she needs them. Plus, the IP55 waterproof rating gives extra confidence when running in all weather conditions.Overall, these are lightweight, comfortable, and perfect for any runner or outdoor athlete. Highly recommended!
4.0 out of 5 stars Unlike OpenRun Pro 1, cannot be used with ear plugs.
So far, better sound quality than version 1. However, I'll still be holding on to the old version for travel as they seem louder than v2, and more importantly, I can't use v2 with silicon ear plugs for instances when I want to completely block out ambient noise, such as on buses or flights with wailing babies in the seat behind me, as only part of the frquencies are transmitted via bone conduction. So, horses for courses.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent purchase would definitely recommend!
Excellent purchase would definitely recommend!!!!I checked out all of the reviews across the web etc and I was out on my morning run when I saw a fellow runner with the older version on. I stop and ask his thoughts. He said they were excellent. So I took the plunge and purchased a set. Now I use them on every run, easy to use, comfortable to wear and sound is great as well as being aware of your surroundings.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good fit, good sound quality, good battery
I bought these for my wife who wanted a pair of headphones for while she's working out, or doing stuff outside. She's had some Bluetooth in-ear ones for a while, and quite likes them, but they are a little bulky if you're doing physical exercise. She was interested in these bone conduction ones, so I decided to get some for her. These come in two sizes. I measured her head as directed, and she needed the smaller sized ones. In reality, she could probably do with a pair that's got a loop about 1" shorter, as the loop sticks out about 1" from the back of her head. That's the only issue with these: The band isn't adjustable. But, the ear things work, and the fit is good there. She tells me the sound quality is good. Not mind-blowing, but certainly the equal of most headphones. Despite the claim that you can hear what other people are saying, she often has to mute the music or take the phones off to listen to people. Part of me wonders if that's a reflex action from having in-ear headphones, and she'll not need to do that at some point. They look good, and they stay on her head, and sound good. Bluetooth range is good, and battery seems to be good... Nothing to really complain about with the features!I'm not quite sure why these are so expensive compared to other similar models, but they are good, so I'm not unhappy with the purchase.
1.0 out of 5 stars Not very loud compaired to older models- Not good for cycling
I've owned every version these Shokz headphones right back to the first wired versions. While these are by far the best sound quality of all the versions so far that comes at a cost. And that's the maximum volume. These are so much more quieter than the previous versions. Im going to assume that's because there no longer a bone conducting headphones and now have speaker that play the sound into your open ear rather than before using vibration hence the better sound quality. Now for general use walking about or runnning the sound level is more than adequate. But I bought these for cycling. The main issue you get using headphones cycling is the wind noise. Now with the previous versons of these headphones that wasn't an issue as the sound was sent via vibration. But now there playing the music into your open ear while your get load of wind noise. So if your ride at any speed the sound is drown out. You can still hear it but only just.If you cover your ears with headband then problem solved which is ok in the winter but come summer I won't want to have a headband covering my ears.Very disappointing
Der perfekte Sportkopfhörer
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Ich nutze die Open Run pro 2 Mini vor allem als Sportkopfhörer (zum Laufen und auch Wandern).
Awesome
I love these. So comfy and ym ears can breathe. I wear them running, shoping, cleaning, everywhere.. they are much safer than noise cancelling ones in the streets for hearing traffic and really good in the wind too with no beating feedback. Only negative is when loud vans go past or on public transport when everything is just too loud and I can't hear my audiobook. I put earplugs in sometimes or just put a finger in my ear as van goes past. Otherwise perfect. Haven't used my noise cancelling headphones since.
Nice
Nice
Worth it, If you know the Technology behind it.
This is my first ever Bone Conduction headphones I have used or purchase.Having gone through multiple reviews, finally decided to purchase these. As all reviewers have emphasized do not have expectations for it to perform like a normal Headphone/Earphone.With that in mind ordered Openrun Pro 2 after eliminating all the others. On opening the box, it comes with a nice case, the headphones, USB cable (A to C), warranty card with serial and reflective stickersAfter downloading the app, I pared it with my phone and the registration was done on the fly along with a firmware upgrade.App allows you to multi-pair and adjust EQ to your liking. The build quality is very good and robust. The band sits comfortably on both ear and found no issues with it. I can probably wear this much longer than any headphones/earphones I have owned till date.Coming to the audio, I started with 50% volume on standard EQ, I was pleasantly surprised to hear the audio almost similar to having a headphone/earphone on.Only thing was the bass wont be able to compare to standard ear/headphones, but it was not such that you could not appreciate the bass. In fact it sounds much much better than any mobile phone speakers and better than most portable bluetooth speakers, regarding bass (only way to give an easy comparative description)Picking and answering calls is easy and the mic noise cancellation is awesome, such that the person on the other side will not realize you are on a wireless.Going on a walk or jog the headphones perform 100% to what they are specified for.Have not given a full run for its battery life but will update on it soon. Conclusion: Very happy and satisfied with the purchase abet the price kinds pinches on the pockets. At the time I bought this the similar bone conducting Bose was selling lower than this by 1k+Would definitely to people who completely understand what they are signing up for.
