Brilliant for sharpening all sorts of knives, with a course and fine disc to create the edge then hone it. I had a different type where the setting angle was at the bottom of the block which meant with small knives I ended up missing the blade and hitting the wood... threw it out as soon as this one arrived.Easy to use, leaves knives sharp in no time and great quality.... it's that nice my wife doesn't mind me leaving it out in the kitchen under the knife rack... I've also used it on a couple of rusty blades from the garage and they're still rusty.... but now back to full working order!

The media could not be loaded. This knife sharpening tool is of superb quality and very easy to use. It works wonderfully on various tools and scissors, making them extremely sharp again. The operation is simple, and the product is truly perfect.

Carefully modelled and designed to fit in a modern kitchen setup, the outer appearance screams 'quality at a mere sighting. The combination of woodlike and metal finish is robust and steady.Operating this is easy and much safer to the user, precision and and sharpening angle accuracy is much easier to achieve. This has brought a few of my knoves back to life and I'm enjoying it. It serves beyond its purpose.

Sharpened my knives easily could cut a tomato after using it good price and easy to use I can't use a wet stone or the diamond honing so this was a good option

Wasn’t sure about this at first, could t figure it out until the wife showed me. There are magnets on the ends of the wooden block. You put your knife, or scissors, on the magnet and then choose which level of abrasion on the end of the grinding block and the roll it gently back and forth. You have to move the knife if it’s a longer blade. Once done, BE CAREFUL, it really does sharpen your knives. Chopping veg and cutting meat has never been so fun

It works reasonably well for maintaining a good knife that has not suffered from any severe wear. The design needs wider knives to be able to work so larger chefs knives are fine. Small paring knives will not work as they do not protrude over the top of the magnetic holder which is really frustrating. The end result is not as good as using a stone and patience but for a quick top-up for a larger knife it works well.

Beautifully packaged, looked well made, but was not up to the task. I have professional grade kitchen knives and expect them to be sharp with no "edge". Sadly, despite my efforts the sharpener was ineffective. Additionally: useless instructions, very uncomfortable in the hand to use. Always had the feeling the base could slip, causing a nasty wound. Tried to register product to get help; wouldn't register as rejected the order number. I returned within one hour of trying to use it!
