If there’s one nutrient I’ve consistently taken over time it’s 400 IU of vitamin E. In fact, I’ve taken it at this dosage for a good few years. Not every day, of course, but fairly often and in periodic batches, and haven’t suffered any ill effect for it. I say this because looking at the back of this packet it states that it’s 2233 of %NRV, which is quite a lot (but in line with some other vitamin E supplements). I can’t remember why I started taking vitamin E but it seems to have done me nothing but good. I can’t say that other people will fare as I’ve done, but then again it’s a vitamin that doesn’t have to be taken all the time, and possibly only when a boost is needed or the diet is lacking.Remarkably, I was getting down on supplies when I saw this advertised so thought I would give it a try. I’m pleased I did as it’s in the better-absorbable alpha tocopheryl format, and free from additives. Being softgels they’re very easy to take, being smaller than most capsules. For 60 days’ supply at one per day the price is good. Lab testing and quality control measures aid confidence in the product. I would always recommend trying to get nutrients from good, healthy food, but where it’s not always available or preferred then this is a very good substitute.
