(Also have the option of driving a wired connection)Also worth noting the Bose app is brilliant - simple and effectiveThis one is an investment, and the build suggests it will stand the test of time.

Absolutely fantastic small speaker with a lot of bass. It is just as described, perfect for the garden which is what we purchased it for. Very easy to set up. From the weight you can tell its great quality & its nice & compact to move it around. Beautiful sound.I would very highly recommend this speaker if you want a small portable speaker with a great sound.

I bought this because the Sonos speaker I bought some time ago disappoints. This is smaller but the sound quality is very much better - as ‘What Hifi?’ Recommends, I’ve turned the bass down a bit (I listen mainly to Classical and Spoken Word). If you are a bass fiend, this won’t disappoint. The sound is full and rich, clear in the treble. The volume is awesome; it fills my high-ceilinged Victorian rooms without trying.About the size and weight of a housebrick, it is solid and waterproof. The handle makes it easily portable. Very easy to pair with ipad.I’m delighted by this. Am tempted to buy another one so I can pair them for stereo.

Beautifully made. Nice simple quality design rather other speakers which look like a tacky disco box.Sound is epic. Huge base. You’ll need to turn it down with the eq in the companion app.App is ok, limited but that’s all you need. Option of being able to pair 2 for even bigger sound but I don’t think you’ll need too.I had a SoundLink mini before which epic but this is 3 times louder.Battery is great and you can even charge your phone from it.Is it worth £400 at release last year? No. But you’ll find them for £300 here on Bolo on prime days and that is a good price for what you’re getting.I also love the fact that it’s waterproof dust proof and impact proof and you link it to your Bose home system if you have one.

Very good sound quality with excellent base, as expected. The speaker is very heavy but made up by sound quality. It is very functional with multiple simultaneous connections. Excellent battery life and the reverse charging is also very helpful.Looking at the price history, do not buy at over £300 as it is frequently dropped to £299.My main criticism is the metal grill is VERY easily scratched, see photos.

The weight which feels like 5kg or five packets of sugar is the first thing you can't help notice with the promise to deliver heavy bass and Holy crap! it delivers it well.On testing it at work people rushed in to see where the big sound was coming from and struggled to believe it came out of such small sized speaker.Internet music quality varies so CD's are the best to utilise its full potential. Not sure why they allow you to tweet the sound levels as factory setting is best. I've heard quite a few Bluetooth speakers in my time but this one is on another level.Best Bluetooth speaker I've ever owned to date, with JBL coming second.The price is well justified for the power you get in return which in my opinion you actually get more for your money on this particular speaker.Bose have really outdone themselves as per usual.When I'll replace it it will be for next few model up.It wouldn't surprise me if it doesn't win awards in "what hi-fi" magazine.NOTE: Best use a charger that fits the cable provided as it can take ages to charge with standard phone charging cable.

Auch irgendwie raumfüllender.Der Bass klingt für uns "sauberer" als beim Holist. Beim Holist ist zwar mehr Druck hinterm Bass, aber der Klang ist nicht so raumfüllend und lebendig wir beim Bose.Für uns ist klar dass der Bose Max die bessere Wahl ist. Die Portabilität im Vergleich zum Holist, bei besserem raumfüllenden Klang ist noch ein Bonus. Aber man will auch nicht Äpfel mit Birnen vergleichen, dass der Holist nicht portabel ist, war gewusst, und ist keine Kritik.Zur Akkulaufzeit kann ich sagen, dass sie von uns als gut empfunden wird. Da der Speaker im ganzen Haus herumgetragen wird, ist bei Bedarf auch schnell nach geladen. Was auffällt, der Speaker lädt schnell. Wir haben 65W GAN Ladegeräte, welche die Box schnell wieder voll bekommen. Die Bose APP hingegen ist eine gefühlte Katastrophe und wird deshalb nicht benutzt. Die Box funktioniert aber für unseren Bedarf auch ohne APP Anbindung perfekt.Nicht billig, aber das kennt man von BOSE ja. Aber aus unserer Sicht, auf jeden Fall das Geld wert.

Ya tenía una altavoz también Bose que solo funcionaba con wifi y a veces se desconectaba y tampoco te lo podías llevar… por eso compré este y desde que lo sacas de la caja ya puedes ver la calidad que tiene el altavoz, pero cuando lo enciendes y pones la música ya te quedas alucinado con la potencia.. flipas con lo pequeño que es y como suena es una pasada!! Vamos si te lo pillas no te defrauda y la autonomía que tiene puedes darle caña que aguanta 17h casi al máximo… no lo dudes y acertarás con la compra

Impressive Speaker

On the first release, I was contemplating on buying it because of the price. I ended up with the Marshall Mid and months later this came on sale. I really believed that the Mid is good enough. But upon testing it, OMG I'm impressed. I immediately packed the mid planning to give it to someone worthy of it. LOLThe stereo separation is impressive, the instrumentals are more noticeable. What's more! the bass! it's both punchy and deep! some audiophile might argue but for me it's great. It feels like having a sound system on the size of a hand bag.

Big Sound, Small Stature.

The smallish size and the quality of sound it puts is what you pay for. You will find better and bigger sound systems at much cheaper price, but that's not what these speakers are competing against. If you want a compact size speaker that can dish out hi-quality sound, then this is for you.Now getting into more details:Stereo Effect: If you are sitting closer to the speaker, you will be suprised by an almost 3D Surround effect. This effect is also depended on the kind of music recording you are listening to.Bass: Like most bluetooth speakers, this one also uses passive radiators to enhance the lower end frequencies. Now there is bass definitely, but it's not tight. I am comparing it to a bookshelf speakers which is not really fair. But I am trying to give you an idea of how it sounds. It's not bad at all, but it's not perfect.Mids and highs: Beyond expectations. I'll leave it at that.Battery: It's ok I guess, but I don't really care about it cos I am using it as a compact speaker for home only.Overall, if you are used to Bose products, you are not going to be disappointed. Infact you will love it.If you are someone who prioritises sound per rupee, this ain't for you.
