This is the first negative review I’ve written, but I felt a responsibility to warn buyers. Whether we got a faulty one, maybe? It was virtually impossible to locate the blades into the housing. After quite a battle we managed to get them in far enough to hear the “click” and then we couldn’t get them out! If you don’t locate them properly, the blades shoot out when you press the operation button which is very scary. I would have hoped it would not work if the blades are not properly located? It was such a struggle to remove the blades that we actually thought we would we have to return the knife with them still located! With the help of a very thick cloth to protect our hands from the blades, and after a terrible struggle, we managed to extract the blades. This has now been returned for a credit.

The Electric Knife is Super But the useless little Booklet is inadequate. Dangerous accidents can Happen. On off Button is at the Bottom.. On top Release Button. Power on of switch does not light up. The Knives fit the wrong way ROUND UP/Down.. as well...Pressing on the handle results in the RELEASE BUTTON BEING PUSHED Replacing them Correctly without switching OFF will have them vibrate in your hand. KNIFE SUPER. BUT REPLACE THE BOOKLET.

This cordless carving knive is much cheaper than competitors. It works well and comes in a container for easy storage.Very pleased with my purchase.

Generally pleased with this knife. I did find when oping the package that one of four black plastic blade guards was missing. Bolo poinrted me to the seller's contact page and I wrote but received no answer. I am using the knife with good results. The sellers site invites me to telephone a number in Souther Califarnia for help. I can find no European or UK contact helpline.

Disliked instruction manual.Was on the verge of putting it back into the box and returning, because we couldn't get it to work.When we ...(ok, my wife) finally figured out that you have to press and hold the on/off switch to get this to power up, I was really pleased with the rechargeable knife. I use it daily as we always make our bread at home and it has another set of blades with finer serrations used for carving meat. Gone are the frustrations of trying to keep a power cord out of the way because you are left handed. The knife cuts meat and home made loaves with a quiet ease. Would benefit from some sort of stand instead of having to put everything back into the case and the trigger is underneath making it a little awkward to use on a normal height worktop. The actual performance of this knife so far, make those niggles unimportant

Overall a great disappointment. Instructions very poor, and this is crucial for a knife. Actual blades seem to be of very basic quality. Fitting and removing blades needs care. Bread cutting ok, but no better than a decent bread knife. Cutting meat much better, being able to cut meat thinly and accurately. On reflection, I wish I had bought a meat knife for about the same money. Nice case. Looks a lot for the money but does not really deliver.A few months on - on reflection, I consider this knife a very bad buy, and should not be on sale at all. More than anything else, I consider it as not safe to use. We put the knife in the drawer for a few months without using it - today I got it out and all its faults were made clear. It's beyond the Bolo return date, but it's going in the dustbin - what a waste of money!
