Our bedroom had been getting mould on the ceiling and around the windows, there being nights where it has been too cold to have the windows open. Initially buying disposable dehumidifiers, we decided to save money up and buy a proper dehumidifier. We were looking around, trying to find one that was good all round but also was not too loud when sleeping.Use throughout the day is absolutely fine, although if you have thing floor (upstairs) then when the compressor kicks in you can hear the vibrations. During the night, the night setting is very useful. This reduces the fan speed and turns the lights off. When the fan kicks in you it is not silent but it is certainly quiet for you to fall asleep. When the compressor kicks in this is slightly louder, and can get some getting used too. My wife is a light sleeper but is able to sleep through this turning on and off through the night. The compressor only kicks in when the humidity gets to a set level you can control. If you are someone that likes to have background noise to fall asleep this is ideal, and for me this is why this product is getting 5 stars and I find no fault with it. It just comes down to personal preference.This dehumidifier, at times, are having to empty multiple times in a day. Since having it we have had no problems with mould in the bedroom. Just have to remember to regularly clean it as it does pick up quite a bit of dust.Great value for money and feels and looks like good quality. This is used in a bedroom that is roughly 4m2.
Great little addition to utility room
Just the right size for my utility space and castors are a useful addition to move the unit around for helping to dry laundry. Cheap to run and the fan is quiet, even on full. Humidity light indicators are a bonus. Overall, a great little dehumidifier.
Great dehumidifier.
Loving it. Live in a bungerlow and really taking the moisture out which right now is a nightmare.
A very Good ,Sturdy dehumidifier
Seems Good (1 week usage.)Relatively quiet ( but I couldn't sleep with it on personally) but it's fine outside the bedroom on the landing area ..Very sturdy unit ...but easy to move on wheels....not too heavy.The plug to unit is ample, but not greatly long.I have the black unit, and it looks very stylish.Has all controls needed ( touch controls)Very user friendly.And work's great up to now...did the job I wanted it for..up to now, Keeping condensation from forming on window in a room prone to that...( Average small size bedroom).The unit itself is approx knee high( I'm 5:4 )The water collection unit is big enough, and collects water fine.I'd recommend using a handful of kitchen roll or similar, when pulling out to empty the water tray ,to catch the drips coming from the top right, after you pull out the water collection draw.Do not put the water collection draw on the floor, it will tip over easily...I'm happy enough with this dehumidifier at this time....( I had recently sent one back I'd received that was £70 cheaper from a different place...it was useless.)İt's much better to get something that is going to actually work..( as I found out)I recommend this dehumidifier.👍
Great machine especially at its size
Great machine, had a dehumidifier that sadly ran its last course after 12 years of ownership. Didn't want to spend a fortune so did some research and found this one with lots of good reviews and now I can see why. The size did surprise me compared to my old unit but it works just as well as that did and looks a lot better. The noise is barely noticeable until you walk in the room its actually in and even then its still a quiet hum, surprisingly heavy but its got a condenser in it so its to be expected. Very pleased.
