It cannot be formatted via the computer, I tried this several times and I was still getting error message to formate the memory card. While scrolling through the menu I found the option to format the card and once completed it was good to go. Setting up the menu to your speciation is easy. The only thing to remember is that the Power button doubles as the OK button.I have attached it to my windscreen and it comes on automatically once the car ignition is on. The resolution seems ok but I will need to view the video playback to confirm this, but I have not yet done so. There is a user manual booklet inside the box and this seems quite informative and the seller also sent an email with information on how to set up the device. The device was well packaged and the box contained all of the parts.So far, I am pleased with my purchase.

A superb piece of equipment. So much so that I purchased a second one to install in another vehicle. Great clarity. easily managed. I did request and received within days the extra longUSB Charging cable for use where 12v Cig Light sovcket not available. Great customer service from Ying. If you are looking for a Dash Cam I would highly recommend. Good value and quality for its money.

Nice neat little item. After limited use so far it appears to work very well. Picture is clear and the wide angle of view is very good. Initial set up was fairly easy to follow from the instruction booklet, which came with the camera, and the tips on usage emailed by the seller were also useful. I requested a USB connection lead to use instead of the cigar lighter connection. This was despatched immediately and received within two days. So far it seems good value at the price, which also included a 64GB memory card.

I bought 2 of these for both of my vehicles. The first is an older '06 van and the installation was easy, just plugged into the cigarette lighter and ran up the trim. The second is a 2017 model so the cigarette lighter installation method would have left it sticking out of a coin tray without the ability to conceal it. Similarly I didn't want to give up the usb for android auto etc so I bought the hardwire kit. Installation is a little more involved with this and the instructions that came with that kit weren't the best but I still managed to install it in under an hour. Camera seems to work really well in day and night, they also offer a rear camera if you email the address in the instruction booklet so well worth the price. Great value for money.

Fantastic dash cam, it has great picture quality,. once downloaded to the computer if you pause the video you can see every little detail, Excellent value for this amazing little camera. Jjust wishe I bought the 64gb one as with full HD this camera will record about 2 hours before overwriting, so for a long journey best to have a couple of 32gb cards. I bought another for my Daughters car and still to check hers is working as good as mine.... Just bought another one to get a longer recording time, but it's the same camera with a 64gb card? my original one say's 32gb max but it will take a 64gb card! Decided to keep and put the first bought one on the rear window at 72 P resolution as it is still a good picture. Just wishe it was made clear that this camera can use a 64GB card in the first place!!

I bought this for our car for peace of mind incase of an accident or any incident that may happen while driving. My husband found it easy to install, and hid the wires well. Good picture quality in the day, ok at night too, but here's the problem. It works fine on short distance drives, but when we drove long distance, over 3 -4 hours, it keeps switching itself off, then coming back on every few seconds, so defeating the object of having a cam. For this reason I would give it three stars.
