Love this science experiment kit! The set comes with quite a few pieces and a booklet of experiments, so there’s plenty to keep her busy. Some of the activities are very simple, which is perfect at her age, and others need a bit more help from me, so it works well as something we can do together.The instructions are clear enough, though I do think younger kids will definitely need an adult on hand. A lot of the experiments use things you already have in the kitchen (like baking soda or food colouring), so it’s good for stretching out playtime without running out of ideas.The kit is colourful and well made, and my daughter was excited just unpacking all the little test tubes and tools. It feels like a good way to make science fun without it being too serious or overwhelming. The only downside is that not every single experiment can be done straight away with what’s in the box, since some need extras you’ll probably already have at home.Overall, I’d say it’s a lovely gift if you want something educational but still playful. It’s best suited for kids in the 4 to 7 range, especially if they’re curious and enjoy hands-on activities. It kept my daughter entertained for quite a while, and I think we’ll dip back into it whenever she fancies doing “science time”.

this is a lovely science kit for kids arriving in a lovely presentation very colourful and attractive for kids, excellent gift idea educational and fun. The kit features a lovely selection of different tools and experiments ,all great quality and good size also instructions for the experiments, easy to follow. Lots of experiments ti share with friends and family, lots to learn and fun for kids. excellent choice activity for a quiet afternoon.

This science kit is designed for girls but can really be used by any child. In the set there is over 50 different experiment that you can do. Some of these take longer to complete than others. In the set it comes with a booklet which lists all of the experimentsIts a really great way of being able to lean but in a fun and engaging way. Its better than children having lots of screen time. The activities are also a great way of being able to spend time time with your child / children.The kit comes with most things that you need to me able to do the experiments but any extra things are the sort of things that you could find around the home.

My four-year-old granddaughter is a very girly girl (think pink fairies, glittery unicorns…..) but I'm already encouraging her to take an interest in the STEM subjects too. That is why I ordered this kit.There is a little discrepancy over the age range that it is aimed at. The listing on Bolo suggests 4+, but 5+ is shown on the instruction manual. In reality, I feel it depends on the individual child and that adult supervision and assistance would be required for a child of either age.The items included are quite basic and it would have been nice to have some test tubes included, like those that appear on the cover of the box, as well as the flask and cups.You could probably do a lot of the activities/experiments with the usual contents of a kitchen cupboard. In fact, some of the activities do also need common “materials from home” such as cooking oil, etc. That said, it is nice to have most of what is required presented in a colourful box which helps to get a child's attention and interest.To my mind, much of the value of this kit lies in the manual and the ideas that it contains. (See Photos) The instructions are well illustrated and I particularly like the “Science Behind This” information which appears on most pages. Unfortunately, I found that the link to the “bonus” manual mentioned in the listing and on the box did not work and I've taken off a star because of this.As my granddaughter is still on the younger end of the scale, I think she might be overwhelmed and distracted if I gave her the whole kit in one go. Therefore, my plan is not to give her all the contents of the kit at once, but to try various things out, one at a time, over a number of visits.Despite my problem with the bonus manual, my impression of this kit is generally positive and I look forward to trying one or more of these experiments when my granddaughter next spends time with us.

I ordered this to keep my two young nephews out of mischief when they visit and they love it. The kit is packed with over fifty experiments, so there’s plenty to keep them entertained, and it’s all presented in a way that’s fun but still educational. The instructions are clear enough for kids to follow along (with a bit of adult supervision here and there), and the activities cover a good mix of science basics. It’s colourful, engaging, and feels like great value for what you get. Overall, this is a brilliant starter kit for curious little minds, and definitely a hit in our household. Much better than YouTube for them too!

This is a brilliant science kit aimed a girls.You may or may not have issues with it as it is not gender neutral!!!!Anyway, nonsense aside, this is a great kit with plenty of activities to do that can be linked back to science.It's pretty much completely self contained, just add water.There is hours of fun to be had with this set.The instructions are clear, simple and easy to follow.

Comes in a nice colourful box. Although my daughter had fun playing with this I wasn’t so impressed. The included items don’t cover all the described 50 experiments…you have to add many ingredients from your own home. Also some of the experiments don’t turn out very well, or not as they should do. A bit underwhelmed with this and don’t really think it is value for money.
Girls first science kit starter
Great STEM fun for kids. My daughter had been wanting to do science experiments for a while and I found this kit. Very good science experiments for my 4-year-old daughter and my 2-year-old loves watching her make fizzy potions and volcano eruptions. Good addition - limits screen time and the kids learn something new every day.

This kit is amazing! The instructions are clear and easy to follow. There are also fun science facts about the experiments in the instructions which are super fun to open up discussions with your child! Everything is packaged securely and conveniently. It was really easy to get a science experiment open in ready to go in under a minute. There are so many fun experiments to try and everything is great quality. Also you’re supporting a parent led start-up, which is such a great bonus!

Outstanding product, well worth the cost
All materials were packaged well and securely. Instruction booklet separates experiments into beginner and advanced, which was helpful to introduce a topic and then expand on it. A mix of ingredients provided in the kit and those needed at home; the ingredients at home were all ones likely to actually be in your home (like water or vinegar).

Excellent quality and engaging activities. It's a relief to find a toy that's both educational and exciting for my kids. My daughter and her friends are having a blast with this kit!
