I bought this because it's one of the few TV's of medium size that has a central stand. The stand is easy to set up and attach. It's pretty sturdy. Setting up the TV was straight forward. There is an annoying rapidly speaking, almost incoherent, voice telling you what to do. If you have ever set up a TV before you are best choosing the on screen option to get rid of the voice. Connection to my terrestrial aerial was easy. The rest of the set up: picture, sound, etc required more clicks than my Panasonic of similar price and is not very intuitive. This was made a bit easier once I realised I could get rid of the remote's pesky on -screen pointer by pressing any button. LG should really have had a simple way of disabling the pointer-it just gets in the way and is unnecessary.Sound is the best I have heard straight out of the box from a TV of this price range. The picture needed a bit of adjustment for my liking. Once set, the picture is excellent quality. There are ample inputs and remote shortcuts to various apps. The WebOS platform does not have as large a range of apps as my Panasonic Android TV. In particular, I missed the media player apps that the Panasonic can access, such as Kodi and VLC.In the absence of any detailed, written instructions, YouTube is a mine of information about LG TV's which, mercifully, appear to have a lot in common. including some useful shortcuts you can make with the remote.So far, after a week, I can recommend this TV. It appears very good value for money. It loses a star for a lack of written instructions, awkward menus, especially the several steps needed to access the subtitle menus, and the annoying remote pointer.I will purchase a remote from a third party which does not have the pointer option. There are several online at reasonable prices.

Very pleased with my first LG TV. My 12 year old Sony finally gave up the ghost & I wanted a decent tv at around the £300 price. A 43” just fits in the corner & doesn’t dominate my small cottage. Easy to set up & connect to my Sky box & cctv. I find sound & picture quality fine & comparable to Sony. There’s obviously lots more Apps etc than my old Sony & still working my way through some of the options. I have quite poor wi-fi hence my Sky box but so far everything I’ve watched direct from the TV rather than through Sky has been ok - so best of both worlds. Overall very happy with my purchase in the price range I wanted.

This is a great TV, cannot understand the negative reviews. Once setup and WiFi enabled everything is good. I am even using the sound from the TV and find it adequate. Picture excellent and uhd even better. A great TV at a great price!!

Pros:Really easy to set up, great had 3 HDMI ports.Sound good.Picture greatCons:Remote is hard to use (but because i have long nails lol)The stand the TV sits on seems a bit unsteady, but workable.You have to pay about in settings to get the best sound/picture, but easy to do.
