Definitely recommend this for peace of mind, ease of use and the consistent temperature measurement. Having had an alternative that was read from forehead the GP advised this style and I’m very pleased with it so far.The little hygiene lids, could do with more!

I got this for my adult son who is having chemotherapy. We have to keep check on his temperature. Easy to use . And accurate.

Exactly what we required as its easier to use than the old type ie under the tongue & gives accurate reading + it has the memory register which makes it easier to keep track sometimes on a daily basis which due to long term illness in the family we require - would definitely recommend & good value for money most definitely !

I am a lawyer and used to understanding documents but I could not figure out the so called instructions for this item and it is certainly not intuitive. It beeps when you press the button when you put it in your ear and it says it will beep again if it gets a reading but will also beep again if it doesn’t and then if you have to retest it will beep. How the hell you are supposed to know what the beep you hear is? If it beeps three times and you pull it out of your ear it gives you a high reading with a red screen but then goes green. In fact, all readings, regardless of colour or level all turn green after a second or so. You can’t just reset it and try again, you have to press the button for about 15 seconds to switch it off and leave it off for 30 seconds to reset it. Eventually realised a reference to needing two readings 10-15 seconds apart means you have to leave the device in your eye after the first beep until you get a second beep. However, I could only manage that on about every 7th go. Each time would give readings from 35.2 to 39.1 from the same ear. Eventually just dropped the whole thing in the bin as it was driving me made. This device is more expensive than most on Bolo but it is not worth it. It is not worth anything. Spend less of your money on something that has understandable instructions and that actually works.

Non invasif
〰️ Ce thermomètre a l'énorme avantage d'être non invasif et quand les enfants sont régulièrement malades c est quand même plus sympa pour eux que le thermomètre rectal et quand ils dorment on a une chance de ne pas les réveiller.〰️ Il est également très fiable, a condition bien entendu de le placer correctement dans le conduit auditif. Étant dans le domaine paramédical j'ai l'habitude d utiliser ce genre de thermomètre tous les jours je savais donc déjà comment le positionner.〰️ Il est ici fourni avec des embouts plastifié.Attention, le thermomètre ne s'allume pas s'ils ne sont pas bien placés. Il y en a peu, il faudra donc en racheter très vite, sous peine de tomber en panne et d avoir un thermomètre inutilisable.〰️ Je le trouve donc parfait, simple d'utilisation, non invasif et fiable.

Ich habe das Thermometer gekauft, als ich ziemlich hohes Fieber hatte und mein anderes Thermometer zunächst nicht finden konnte.Dieses neue Thermometer wurde sehr schnell ( ich wohne in einer Großstadt) geliefert. Abends bestellt - gegen Mittag geliefert. Bolo prime verdient hier Lob.Nun zum Thermometer selbst:Es ist eine größere Zahl von Ersatzkappen für die Messung im Ohr beigefügt. Beim ersten Aufsetzen war ich irritiert - man muss die Schutzkappe mit leichtem Druck auf-„drehen“ . Dies war allerdings beim alten Thermometer ebenso.Nach dem Einschalten ist ein Signalton abzuwarten und dass sich die Anzeige auf 0 stellt ( Anzeige : nach buntem Lichterspiel einige Striche) . Dann ab ins Ohr und auf den oberen Knopf drücken. Nach sehr kurzer Zeit kommt ein relativ leiser kurzer Signalton - die Messung ist beendet.Dann ist allerdings kurzes Abwarten angesagt. Das Thermometer zeigt mit einem Ohr- Symbol an, wann man wieder messen kann. Ein zu schneller fliegender Wechsel zum zweiten Ohr löst eine Fehleranzeige aus. Einige Sekunden muss man schon abwarten. Diese Mini- Pause sichert die korrekte Messung(und hat bei mir einen Blick in die gute Bedienungsanleitung ausgelöst).Messungen können gespeichert werden - ich persönlich nutze diese Funktion allerdings weniger.Das Thermometer kann bei Nicht-Nutzung ( auch mit den Ersatzkappen) in einem weichen Stoffbeutel verwahrt werden.Kurz: Ein gutes Thermometer für vergleichsweise wenig Geld.
