It's OK, but as it's electric, it's a bit pricey to use. It is well made, and does look good in out kitchen. We don't use it much but it's very good when it's really cold. Certainly takes the chill off the room, it's a big farmhouse kitchen. I will recommend it as a stand by product

Ita a cool looking fire, good price, only the switches are at the back so you have to pull out and turn the fire around to see them, which is annoying.The fan blasts straight outwards and not slanted downwards so if you're sat across from it, you get warm air in your face.. my last fire had slanted downwards heat blower.
