I bought this product to line the bottom of my guinea pig’s cage, and I’ve been very satisfied with the quality and versatility of the product! It’s a no-brainer for anyone looking to make the cleaning of their pet’s cages much more convenient. I have also made a hay box for them using this material, which they love to dig into!The product came rolled up as a tube, so it naturally wanted to keep this shape and bend. This was slightly annoying when trying to cut it into shape, but I was able to just weight down the corners and there was no issues after that! Once the material was in the cage, it took it’s shape quite nicely.The main advantage of this material for me was how easy it was to clean, like any other plastic surface. It made cleaning my guinea pig’s cage, so much easier as nothing dropped on the floor and could easily be wiped down.Would definitely recommend this to guinea pig owners - it may be a hassle to cut and stick yourself, but it’s worth the versatility and it’s much cheaper than pre-made cage liners out there.

Correx is the base that "C&C" cages use [e.g. Kavee Cages] to line the metal fencing. This is the cheapest I've found to buy it separate from the cage kits. It came super quickly, and was really well packaged. Perfect for the job. Easy to cut to size and score to make the bases - I bought the white and then white duct/gaffer tape to secure the edges. Got enough spare to revamp my older cages with their original correx bottoms that came as part of the kit. The company seem lovely (emailed with them). Definitely a good way to DIY a cage, or make a custom area for your small animals. My guinea pigs are loving their new abodes!

The two pieces of tape used to roll the 2 sheets I ordered creased the product. Happily I could cut that off and use the rest, but all they had to do was as take a bit more care, add more tape to spread the outward force of the coiled substrate instead of focusing it all in two places to damage it. The product itself was absolutely fine.

This is decent correx at a really good size. At 2mm thick though, it is just a tad flimsy to construct guinea pig bases for the C&C grid type cages. This is especially true if you are constructing a "loft" as it bounces up and down quite a bit as there is just not enough weight in the correx to keep it flat and secure.It works okay for bases which are on the ground level.It's really handy being able to order this stuff from Bolo, and the fact that the more you buy, the cheaper each sheet works out, is really good. For this price you could probably double up each sheet to get a 4mm thickness overall.Good that it comes in both black and white. I would recommend the black, it hides the pee stains a lot better!Comes rolled up in box.Happy with this, just wish it had been a little bit thicker but I believe this seller also sells thicker correx sheets.
