The price point is really reasonable and it’s great that it comes in a carry case. Instructions are clear and it’s that compact for you to pop in your small handbag.

Excellent product. I bought this to use as I was helping my friend with his diabetes. It’s simple to use comes with full instructions and the batteries last ages. Fully recommend this.

Even when following the instructions perfectly and putting plenty of blood on the test strip, the monitor only offered a reading once out of 5 strips we tried. One strip might not have had enough blood, but 4 out of 5 definitely did. If it worked, it would have been easy to use and compact and useful. However since we had to use 5 strips to get one reading, meaning pricking the skin 5 times and using half of the needles and strips that come in the strip, it definitely didn't do what it's supposed to. I am returning this item due to it being faulty.

I believe I can give a reliable review of this device because I use it in conjunction with another, costing twice as much. I do this in order to verify, as far as is reasonably possible, the accuracy of the readings given by both. So far the readings I have obtained from each device have been quite closely comparable, which I find re-assuring. Like most devices of this type the initial set up is tricky, but once done it is simple to operate. It's readings are displayed clearly and quickly and it is particularly helpful that the test strips re-act to very small blood samples. This device seems to be very good value for anyone wishing to be able to get simple blood sugar readings without too much fuss.
