The vanilla arrived very quickly. It is a gorgeous product with a powerful but balanced vanilla aroma,rich and not over-sweet, surprisingly complex. Given the quality the quantity is generous and good value for money. It comes in a sealable pack so should keep well. Very happy customer. No

I thought vanilla pods were only from Madagascar but not so. These are from Uganda and they are the best!A lovely note came with them explaining the family history and how they treated the pods with respect to keep them in perfect condition.And they are perfect - really plump and juicy, packed with seeds and full of flavour.This was my second order and I shall be ordering more in the future. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

These are great vanilla pods, plump and juicy with plenty of seeds...and the price is unbeatable. In most supermarkets you'll get 2 pods for over £6 and here you get 10 for £8.90!I made vanilla ice cream and the flavour is delicious! Highly recommend.

Update. I've just received my second order. The first batch of 30 beans weighed 154 grams I used 134 grams on extract and then decided to make 2 of the batches double fold, I ordered 10 more beans based on my previous experience. However the new beans are smaller and the 10 beans weigh 34 grams. I'm going to have to order more beans.Really impressed with these beans. Really plump, they were too long for the bottles I was going to use for extract as didn't want to cut them, so you'll need bottles than will take a 21.5 bean if you don't want to chop them up. Can't tell you how they taste as they're currently in about a litre of spirits, although they did smell fab.

Lovely taste and flavour. Loads of seems and the packaging is great. Amazing value don’t be put off them at they are not Madagascan.

Considering at the minute 1 vanilla pod is about £3 even the small pack of 5 is still amazing value. Just as good as other vanilla no size difference, maybe a little less soft but no difference in taste, will be stocking up!
Moisture of the beans.
Foe 10 years I have always made my vanilla extract with Madagascar beans. Never again, these are so much better. The moisture, smell and bean it's self is better. It takes my vanilla extract a year to make so I can not tell you the taste yet. If you go by moisture and smell it will be great.
