Delivered next day using prime. The item is chunky and the screws are a good length. I used two for a very heavy mirror as the mirror already had hanging rings screwed in the back. You get a reassuring click as the item is placed on the hook and it’s not going anywhere until you take it down. I’ve just ordered two more as I still have a few bits to hang.

I hate putting pictures up!Our walls are prone to chipping out a chunk of plaster whenever we've gone to hammer in a traditional pin picture hook. Not always but often.Worse is when you want to hang several pictures close together at the same height, especially if it's a heavy picture that needs double pin hooks. No matter how carefully you measure, remeasure and then get the hammer out, 'hit and hope' hooks invariably end up slipping in at slightly different angles and so you end up with pictures at different heights. Frustrating!I've found that these are far better and mean that a straight drill into the wall gives you far more accurate positioning for the hook. With the included wall-plug and screw, these will hold up some pretty heavy pictures & mirrors etc. so there's no need for multiple pin-hooks.As we decorate rooms and want to rehang pictures/mirrors we will now replace the old hammer and pin hooks with more of these.The only drawback you might want to consider is that usually a small pin hook won't leave much of a hole to fill (unless you chip out a chunk of plaster!) before decorating, whereas a drilled hole will.However, if it's going to be a quick paint and then rehang things where they were, then these are surely easier. Just unscrew, paint and re-screw the hook back into exactly the right place. No need to remeasure again.We will most certainly be buying more of these over the coming months/years and so we'll not need to buy any more patch-up plaster and we'll be able to give the hammer a well earned rest!

I ordered this hook to hang a mirror that weight around 3kg. The setup was easy, I was even able to do it without a drill.The only down side that the hook is visible above the mirror but I guess that depends on the type of object you need to hang.

I've got some heavier items to hang in the living room , valuable artwork in a quality frames , you can be sure with this hook they're not going to fall off the wall , like those plastic multi pin hooks that just hang into the plaster and are prone to falling off in the night , so after decorating the living room and repairing all the damaged plaster I fitted these hooks for the heavier items , you'll need to drill a hole and insert raw plug so mark the spot carefully , I use some bonding on the raw plug just to ensure it won't loosen in time
