You can’t usually go wrong with Top Trumps, and when the subject matter is our family’s favourite film series, it’s a surefire winner. Being volume 2, this is more of a deep dive into the films and Disney shows, bringing forward a lot of the supporting and secondary characters in favour of the most popular Avengers, but we’ve seen the series enough to know who’s who so that hasn’t caused any problems- but for younger kids who are more familiar with the headliners, it might be worth seeking out volume 1.The categories are all pretty straightforward and easy to understand. “Willpower” and “wits” are a bit contentious at times, but that’s part of the fun sometimes with subjective Top Trumps- and grumbling when you lose a card on willpower when in your opinion your character’s will is stronger is part of the character of the game! There’s some interesting match-ups, which led us to some fun conversations about which character would win in a fight- or bizarrely, in cookery contents. But that’s another story.The print quality is good. I agree with another reviewer who’s said that the pictures are a little dark, but it didn’t bother us too much- you can still see who it is and enough detail.The quality of the cards is typical playing card quality. They aren’t necessarily the thickest, and they will wear if not treated carefully. However the gloss on them is nice, and the slightly Hulk-ish green case is a nice touch, so overall it comes across as a really good set that fans of the MCU will enjoy.

I’m sure that everybody on the planet is familiar with the card game “Top Trumps”, And there can’t be anyone alive who hasn’t seen at least one Marvel film, so you should know what to expect.The selection of characters is quite good with some of your classic, well-known characters and a lot of the newer ones. You get well established characters like Sam Wilson’s Captain America, Shuri’s Black Panther, and Jane Foster’s Mighty Thor, all the Spider-Man’s inclusion here seems slightly odd as he is such a long-standing character? If we’re having Spider-Man, why not Hulk or Iron man? But it’s fun to see She-Hulk, Red Guardian, Agatha Harkness, America Chavez, and Ms Marvel in the selection.There is still a couple of odd choices – I find it strange we have Mantis, but no other Guardians of the Galaxy, Wong but no Dr Strange, Wasp but no Ant-man? Okay, Okay……I’m probably taking it far too seriously for what is a kids game! It’s a nice set and should satisfy both Marvel fans and top Trump fans alike.

Overall an awesome edition of top trumps, my girls love playing this game with her daddy so they wanted to buy him a new game for his birthday.Only issue i have come across is the lack of colour differentiation on the card topic titles which makes it difficult to play with younger children to have yet to fully grasp reading.Value for money and would be buying more in the future.

The characters are from the more recent movies and series of Marvel's cinematic universe, and while we haven't seen them all we did keep up with most of them, so we knew who most of the characters were. The different stats on each character's profile were reasonably assigned based on their unique skillset and physique, powers, etc, so the game felt fair and well balanced. I think it's a fun game, especially for MCU fans and would make a great gift.

I have two little boys who are twins and super competitive, consequently they love playing top trumps together! They already have a few different packs of these of things like super cars, football legends, etc and they are big Marvel fans too so this is sure gonna be a hit with them.Comes in the handy carry case that top trumps always do, so good for taking on journeys, trains, etc as they can be easily packed in a rucksack.

Handy little pack of marvel top trumps cards. Easy to learn and play. My son is a MARVEL fan and is very pleased with this game. Will be taking this game with us on our upcoming holiday. Occupies less space and keeps kids occupied and way from gadgets. Good price and would make a great stocking filler.Only issue is that the background and the factfile bit is slightly difficult to read.Overall, this is a wonderful game for kids as well as adults.Hope you find this review helpful.

I remember playing top trumps as a child, but seem to remember it was all about cars and bikes then. Now you can top trump with the characters from the latest Marvel films. The kids love them. They make a great stocking filler or cheap way to keep the kids entertained on long car journeys. For the hours of fun they provide they are great value for money.

I was a bit disappointed in the pictures of the Marvel characters being dark and dull. Top trumps is a good game but the writing on these cards is also tiny on a dull purple background. I was expecting it to be brighter. The cards are getting edge damage after looking through once. they are not good quality. The metallic box is nice.
