This dock is pretty plug and play and feels well made with plenty of IO ports, but there are some important caveats when I tried it with an ROG Ally:When used with a Dell Laptop 130W USB-C supply, it charges the battery, allowing for 30W Turbo mode.When used with the OEM ROG Ally 65W supply, it charges the battery, allowing for 30W Turbo mode.When used with an Anker A1383 65W Power Bank, it charges the battery, allowing for 30W Turbo mode.When used with an Anker 317 100W USB-C supply, it seems to succeed but slowly discharges the battery, while still allowing 30W Turbo mode for some reason. It gives no warning like you see when you use an inadequate supply (the i over the battery indicator in Armory Crate).I'm unsure of why the USB-PD arbitration results in some chargers failing to deliver the required power, but it seems to be an issue of compatibility between the firmware of the supply and the dock itself, as the Anker 317 is capable of charging an ROG Ally directly without issue when there's no dock in the middle. It's also not a matter of overall power, as the 65W capable power bank was able to run the Ally in 30W Turbo while also charging through the dock.This product works, provided you have the right charger (it does work with the stock ROG Ally 65W supply).

Bought this for my Legion Go and I've had it for around a year and honestly it works great. Would definitely advise getting a 100w for the dock & a usb c to HDMI/Display port cable if you wanna go dual monitor.

I need a dock that is compatible with both the ROG Ally X and the Steam Deck and there is not that much choice.I originally ordered the folding UGREEN Steam Deck 9-in-1 Dock which stated ROG Ally X compatibility and was fantastic build quality - BUT IT COMPLETELY BLOCKED THE ROG ALLY X VENTS so was useless and I returned it (it also didn't hold the Deck or the Ally very securely... come to think of it, it was rubbish *nil points*).The IVANKY dock is also a good build quality, holds both machines securely and -crucially- does not block any vents - perfect!My only criticisms are:1. The braided USB C lead from the dock to the Deck/Ally is very stiff and I feel like I am fighting it to get the right angle to plug it in. Hopefully it will loosen up over time.2. The official Steam Deck Dock has a USB C connector that has a 'lip' overhang that makes it easy to disconnect. This is a brilliant ergonomic touch that I wish IVANKY and other 3rd manufacturers would copy.

Why did you choose this product over others?:The product does what it says it does. More or less pleased with it. I can swiftly play my games with my controller and on a 4K quality.

Fonctionnement plug-and-play dès le premier branchement .(steam OS 3.5.7 sur SD OLED )Ecran reconnu en branchement à chaud pendant un jeu/ sur l'interface steam du mode jeu/ en mode bureau/ en sortie de veille/au démarrage.A fonctionné même juste alimenté par le steam deck (émulation sur Yuzu ).Manette ps3 branchée en USB (déjà appairée en bluetooth mais batterie déchargée pendant une session de jeu) reconnue instantannément.Le cable est tellement renforcé/épais qu'il est limite trop rigide.Ma steam deck semble rester chargée pendant les partie de jeux avec le chargeur d'origine (45w) qui alimente le dock.Pas encore essayé le port ethernet.Dès "coques" pour les joysticks offert dans la boite (2 noirs et 2 blancs ).franchement, je ne vois pas pourquoi on voudrait payer plus ?
Excellent Docking Station with Great Performance
This docking station is exactly what I was looking for. I use it with my ROG Ally X and it performs flawlessly. I often bring it along when hanging out with friends, and it’s been incredibly reliable every time.The build quality is excellent, solid and well-designed. I’ve experienced no lag, no delays, and no charging issues whatsoever. Setup was quick and easy, and the performance has been consistently fast and smooth.For the price, the value is outstanding. This is hands down the best dock I’ve used for the ROG Ally X. Highly recommended!
Great dock for Asus Rog Ally
Its a great dock, good build quality, has ethernet, hdmi and 3 USB-A ports alongside power delivery port which are good enough for attaching additional gamepads, mouse/keyboards to operate Asus Rog Ally as a full desktop pc. Its just plug and play and offers good sturdy stand for rog ally.I got it for around Rs. 5650 with card offers on sale and for this price or around 6k I think its worth it. I am able to use Turbo 30W mode of rog ally on this using rog ally's adapter but a adapter upto 100W could also be used with this (this doesn't come with any power adapter).Also, I have a 150Mbps connection and using the lan cable I am able to see it using full bandwidth..I have also tried copying files using Lan from another computer to this and I am able to see 100MB + (Megabytes) per second data transfer speed which is great.
Ottima, ma non si possono utilizzare le USB A per la ricarica
Premetto che ho preso questo prodotto per espandere la connettività del mio PC fisso sfruttando la porta USB C, anche se ho potuto verificare che funziona con steamdeck.Innanzitutto, su steamdeck funziona bene. Le USB A hanno una velocità conforme allo standard USB 3.0, anche se non possono assolutamente essere usate per ricaricare dei dispositivi perché la corrente che forniscono è troppo bassa. Infatti, ho provato a caricare la mia tastiera logitech e non ho avuto molto successo: in due ore si è caricata appena del 10%. Per il resto le USB funzionano come dovrebbero.Il passthrough per la ricarica rapida funziona come dovrebbe e l'alimentatore è riconosciuto dalla console. Non so dire se sia in grado di supportare la ricarica a 100w perché ho usato un alimentatore da 45W.Per l'uso che ne sto attualmente facendo io, posso confermare che è molto comodo. Viene riconosciuta dal PC sia come porta ethernet, sia come uscita HDMI. Le USB A funzionano correttamente anche in questo caso e le velocità sono in linea con lo standard USB 3.0In generale è molto consigliato.
