I tested after seeing Dr John Campbell doing a self test. His results were low and he was taking 8000ius. Both myself and my partner are taking 16000ius and the tests still show we are insufficient. I have tried 2 different tests from Bolo and both are showing the same results. I take my vit D3 with magnesium so my conclusion is the same as Dr John Campbell that these tests are not fit for purpose.

The test actually works show I'm deficient so I need to top up on Vit D as we don't get much sun here in the UK. My doctors said they don't have the facilities to test vid d which I find very odd yet I just tested myself, thats the NHS for you! I will buy this once a month to see how I am getting on.

This test is very easy to use and the finger prick to obtain the blood didn't hurt as much as I thought it would (I am a big softy). The instructions were easy to follow and the test was easy to do.The results are easy to interpret and had me at sufficient which I'm not totally convinced about as it's the middle of the UK winter, I don't take any supplements and the last time I had my vitamin D checked, which is admittedly quite a long time ago (2017), it was very low and I was advised to start supplements. However other than having a test done at the GPs I can't think of a better way to find out my Vit D levels .

I recently did a dna test and found a mutation with how my vitamin d is processed in my body, after hearing this I decided to try put the vitamin d test to see and it has come back that I am in fact deficient on vitamin D! So I'm guessing my dna and the test was right 🤣🙃

This product isn't accurate. I had a good result and assumed i was fine, i have recently paid for a private blood test and my vitamin d is SO low!!
