My previous steamer struggled with wrinkles on thicker fabrics, but the new one handles them with ease. This steamer leaves white marks on clothing and on my white T-shirt the colour purple rubbed off from the steamer. I want a return, as I can’t use this steamer due to the marks it leaves on my clothes.

Well built and portable!
I prefer steaming clothes rather than using a regular iron, as I never have to worry about ruining the clothes, especially delicates. This steamer is an upgrade from one that I've been using for years, but which was bulky to travel with.The nesmar, in contrast, is very portable, and a feature that I unexpectedly appreciate is the ability to steam clothes while they are flat (as opposed to needing to prop them upright via a hanger). In a recent overseas trip, the hotel room did not come with hangers, so I had to steam iron my jacket on the mattress - and the nesmar made it work fantastically.It definitely comes at a premium price point, and it remains to be seen if the rubber stop used to seal off the water will last the test of time, but for now, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
