Was a bit worried after ordering and reading some of the reviews but honestly product is great - nippy little dvd player easy to use and set up.In great condition brand new in the box, not to loud - remote came with batteries, it's a good sizes not to big.Dvds playing fine - brought this as a back up to use whilst on a caravan holiday.

I wasn't expecting much for Β£30 but the unit is perfectly adequate for playing old DVDs. My only issue with it is, you can't set the aspect ratio (16:9 / 4:3) so you need a TV or monitor that allows you to change that. It looks like there is an aspect option in the settings, but I found it had no effect on the output. Audio is sent via HDMI, which is useful. The remote is ok, there's a volume adjust on there (useful when using a monitor) and Pause/Play/Stop can be found in the dark. It's very quiet in operation. Having HDMI and many phono output sockets is useful. I may end up using it with a HDMI input box on my PC though as I literally need a 'stand alone' setup for it right now. Yes the unit and remote feel cheap and plasticky, but for Β£30 you can't complain. It doesn't look cheap either. I hope it lasts long enough to play my original Equalizer series :)

Just plug in and play. Only been using it for a couple of days, but so far no issues, I've used a multi regional disc and worked perfectly. Small & lightweight but does the job. Remote is working fine.

This is a great little DVD player. It's neat and compact, surprisingly good quality particularly as the price is so low, and it works as expected. The packaging matches the great quality of the product, and also minimal plastic waste, mostly recyclable cardboard. I'm pleased that I decided to take a chance and buy this DVD player to replace an old multi-region one that had stopped working, as I have some Region 1 discs that don't play on a Blu-ray player. Picture quality and playback are good, and the remote is easy to operate.

the package arrived on time well packaged. Plug in and setup was easy. Liked the look of it with fairly good instructions. The remote is a bit temperamental, you have to press the button and wait a couple of seconds otherwise you be opening and closing the disc tray a lot as its slow to react.Also when you zoom the picture to zoom2 to fill the screen it still leaves the on screen display on the screen. contacted their technical department and they advised there is no fix for this. I'm disappointed about that. Playback was ok but doesn't fill my Bolo fire TV screen. On the plus side its cheap so I guess you get what you pay for.

Save your time and money; itβs junk.
Donβt bother. Iβm not sure what machine the positive reviews got, but mine was horrible. I know how to set up DVD players; itβs not a tech issue. HDMI cable non-functional. RCA cable worked but picture was shaky, blurry, and in black and white. I even tried some of my own cables but the player is simply a piece of junk. Waste of a frustrating half-hour for this worthless purchase, and now I have another errand to run to return it. Spend your money elsewhere.
