User-Friendly Allergy Test Kit – Great Concept, Room for Better Customer Support

This food and inhalant allergy test kit was surprisingly easy to use. It includes a device that gently pricks your skin while using suction to collect blood—it takes about 1–3 minutes for blood to start flowing into the tube. Just watch carefully as you need to fill the blood tube to a marked line. Once filled, cap the tube, complete the paperwork, and register your kit online. Then simply mail it in using the included prepaid envelope (don’t forget to add your return address).The results arrived within 7–8 business days, which was impressively fast. While I can't personally verify the accuracy of the results, the process felt smooth and professional overall.One downside: their email customer support could use improvement. I found their responses to be somewhat lacking in empathy and clarity when asking questions. Still, as an at-home option for gaining insight into potential sensitivities, this kit is a solid choice.

Very easy to get your sample at home! It is truly pain-free, to the point I questioned if I did it right until I saw the tube filling. The directions were easy to follow, and the website easy to use. Results took just a few days, and it is a comprehensive report.I see an allergist, and some of my results were spot on to ither testing I've already had. Some I hadn't been tested on yet, but were what I thought they'd be. Others were surprising, but completely make sense with my symptoms/reactions! After a severe reaction recently, I needed additional testing, and this helped pinpoint some issue areas for me and my doctor to investigate together. My allergist is happy it was IGE testing and is going over them with me. The photo is a cropped down result I received.

An Intriguing Concept

I'm really struggling with how to rate this allergen test kit from Better Life Science. As a big believer in at-home testing, I was excited to see this relatively straightforward kit that would test for 581 different types of food and inhalant allergen triggers.I opened the kit. I read through the instructions. I watched the video. I've always done well with these types of kits and I was confident this would be a breeze and provide me valuable information.I timed my process to ensure I was following all the directions and to ensure I'd get the best results. I registered without difficulty.What happened? Well, basically, it just didn't work for me. I used the pod-like device to catch my sample and unfortunately it just didn't collect a sample. I had nothing to send in. Therefore, the process ended for me at that point and there was no real clear indication of how to handle that happening. I reviewed the directions again to make sure I hadn't missed anything - I hadn't.In the end, I have to consider this an intriguing concept that may very well be worth trying but I can't deny being disappointed that it didn't work for me. As a result, I simply can't recommend it as it didn't deliver on the promise and there was no indication of what to do if sample collection fails.

I followed the directions and did everything just like the video. It didn't do anything for me. So it was a huge waste of money. I don't recommend it. I would go see an allergy doctor instead.

Blood sensitivity test

Very cool at home test kit. Comes with clear instructions on how to use the device and send your sample in. So the collection process is easy and completely painless and there's also a video included to help with how to use it. After shipping it it was received by the lab a few days later and i received my labs within 2 days. The variety of sensitivity tests done on the sample are amazing. I cant say for sure how accurate the test is and the company does state that but just getting an idea of sensitivities you have is actually very interesting.
