La Sportiva Boulder X Walking Shoes Suitable for technical approach routes and vie ferrate thanks to the extra-grip sole and the toe designed specifically for crag climbing. Suede Leather Upper The upper is made from reinforced Suede Leather that is highly durable, keeping the shoes looking at their best for longer whilst protecting your feet. This will mean you will always have firm protection from forces when walking over uncertain tracks. As your feet begin to warm, the material will allow air to escape easily and it is then replaced by cooler air from outside of the shoe. This constant cycle will keep you feeling fresh and ventilated over a long period. Sweat will also be wicked away by the inner material keeping your feet dry and comfortable. Thick and strong material covers the toes, absorbing any bumps and knocks, stopping them from reaching the forefoot. A firm counter, to the back of the shoe keeps your heel in a strong, upright position. A traditional lacing system is easy to tighten and loosen to find a firm and secure fit up the foot. A flat-lying tongue will sit on the ankle comfortably, allowing a wide range of unrestricted movement. EVA Midsole The midsole will make sure you're in extreme comfort and have a high level of protection. At the bottom of the midsole, the EVA is extremely firm and tough, instantly stopping strong forces from reaching the sole. When climbing and crossing rocky terrain, this firm EVA will allow you to take any path safely, stopping impacts and negative forces from causing injury. Towards the top, the EVA is a lot softer, increasing underfoot comfort. As a result, you will feel a soft and springy rebound on every step taken. Included is a 2mm EVA insert found in the middle which will hold the foot firmly in place by stabilising the midsole and it will also prevent shocks from impacts.
