This desk lamp looks more beautiful and expensive than in the pictures. It is well made, quite heavy and sturdy. The light is soft but bright enough, an ideal desk lamp for my study room. The two USB charging points are very useful and the charging time is quick, definitely some extra bonus! I had some worries that the charging points might damage the aesthetics of the product, but they are very well designed. The customer service is also great. I'm tempted to buy another one soon!

Just received this today. The outer box was battered with big holes in so I didn’t hold out much hope for my lamp but fortunately it was all in one piece. It’s a really sturdy lamp with a bit of weight to it so it’s not going to move about when you use the cord to switch it on. Underneath the base is covered so it won’t scratch your table or desk or slide about. I was worried it may look cheap but the finish on the base is perfect and the green shade is gorgeous. The on/off cord has a satisfying click to it, it doesn’t feel flimsy like it’s going to break. The only thing I had an issue with was when I first put the bulbs in. I bought T10 E27 bulbs. The first one I fitted and the lamp didn’t come on. The second one I fitted and the lamp still didn’t come on. I plugged my phone into the usb on the base and it started to charge so I thought it must be the bulbs that are faulty. The third and fourth bulb I put in worked perfectly. I tried bulb 1 and 2 again and they worked perfectly this time. So I’m not sure what happened but if you get one of these lovely lamps and I urge you to, definitely bear this in mind. I got this lamp with a discount so I’m more than happy with it and it’s worth every penny. To be honest I think the full price is fair considering I’ve seen lamps that aren’t up to the same standard as this is but they cost more money.

absolutely beautiful and everything i was looking for. very heavy and feels very well made. provides a lot of light.in terms of size, i’d say it’s bigger than i was expecting (however i should also mention ive never been in the presence of a bankers lamp, and therefore can’t confirm whether it’s smaller, bigger, or a typical size for the product) - nonetheless fits great in the space i imagined for it.i’d say it’s a great price too. i’ve seen a similar lamp online (not Bolo) for £30 extra but opted to take a chance on this one and im very glad i did!

This lamp is absolutely gorgeous. It's bigger than I imagined and the light shining through the green glass is beautiful. I wanted it for my table in the living room and it looks perfect there, ideal for reading or sewing or just to look good! The chain to switch it on and off makes a very satisfying sound aswell. Also important to say is that the first one I received was broken, the glass lampshade actually smashed to pieces inside the box. I contacted the seller and they immediately sent me a replacement one which arrived really quickly, so excellent customer service.

This is a really good excellent lamp and looks great on our desk! It is heavy and very well made too with a glass lamp and sturdy base. We bought the dimmable one and this is a great feature to have. Quick delivery too. Thank you very much!

For context, my partners father was a banker, and had a desk lamp similar to this, and she always thought it was classy. So I bought this one for her to have as a desk lamp in our home office.It's beautiful, and she loves it! So far, it's been on every night for hours and seems plenty reliably too. Has a decent weight, and feels quite sturdy.

Ha deluso un pò le mie aspettative
Tanti anni fa avevo una lampada del genere (originale) che apparteneva a mia nonna, durante l'ultimo trasloco la lampada si ruppe e, quando mi è stata proposta dal programma Vine di Bolo per poterla testare e recensire mi aspettavo un vero e proprio tuffo nel passato...Purtroppo però sono rimasto deluso fin da quando ho visto il pacco: molto semplice e di cartone riciclato, non valorizza per nulla il contenuto però lo protegge molto bene, infatti al suo interno c'è la lampada incastrata all'interno di una struttura in polistirolo non semplicissima da aprire.Una volta tolta dalla sua confezione, la parte in vetro verde, molto spessa, risulta essere oliata (non so il perché) ma è come se avesse una sostanza oleosa spalmata sul vetro verde, forse per preservarne il colore (?)A lasciarmi davvero deluso però è stata l'assenza di una lampadina al suo interno che ho dovuto acquistare separatamente ma, considerando il prezzo di vendita di questa lampada, mi sarei aspettato una lampadina - anche alogena - in dotazione.Ho apprezzato molto il suo interruttore a catena fatto discretamente che finora non ha mai dato segni di cedimento.CONCLUSIONIQualità sicuramente discutibile ma è comunque una riproduzione di una lampada che ha fatto la storia e che è ben più costosa di questa per cui ne consiglio sicuramente l'acquisto senza alcun dubbio per chi ha voglia di un tuffo nel passato e ha bisogno di una lampada classica da usare in un ambiente classico o, ancora meglio, in uno studio con arredamento classico.
