However, I have found this to be a great entry level drone, instructions are easy to follow and setup takes minutes. I’ve never flown a drone before but managed to take off in my garden, take some pictures and video and land again. Picture quality is good and I can’t fault it so far although I find the gimbal isn’t the most stable when moving the drone into position. GPS signal is good and all the smart functions work as they should, next step for me is to take it out of Beginner mode and do some more adventurous flying.

I have had a cheap drone in the past and decided to upgrade , I saw this drone and purchased it. It has gps , return to home , so no worries if you are a newbie. The camera can tilt up and down too either way a wheel on the controller that is handy . The drone flys with ease . I am very happy with this Holy stone Drone. And would recommend to anyone starting out.

The HS440D drone, is a small lightweight drone weighing under 250gms which allows it to be flown almost anywhere. The drone comes well packaged in a hardshell case with one battery, a USB charging cable, two pairs of replacement propellers, a small cross head screwdriver for propeller replacement and the drone controller. Disappointingly the controller is not rechargeable and requires 3xAAA batteries (not included).The drone is easy to set up, just insert the battery (fully charged, which took about an hour to fully charge out of the box) and unfold the propeller arms. Insert a tf card (64gb max) in the slot under the belly of the drone to capture 4k video and it's pretty much ready to go.The drone is very lightweight and I found it needed a wide open space to fly without worry but with a little practice a total novice could fly this drone and take reasonable photos with it. Compared to other drones I've flown this is quite quiet not too much louder than an angry bee and the size of it allows it to packed away very easily.This is definitely an entry level drone which does require practice to fly with confidence but for the price it does give reasonable images (images on the sd card are higher resolution than the ones saved to the phone) with around 20 minutes of flying on a single charge, and due to the weight you can fly it pretty much anywhere, just by wary of the wind levels.

I ordered this drone as it had a return to home function, amongst other features, the drone was flying, then stopped responding to the transmitter, veered off on it's own, then suddenly dropped. None of the buttons on transmitter had any effect. The return to home function failed, and there was no low battery warning. When the drone was retreived, the batter was low, despite having been flown for less than 10 minutes, probably 7 or 8 nowhere near the 20 mins stated. This is very disappointing, and limiting, do not want to risk flying it again, as having to go climbing into neighbours gardens to retreive is not ideal.

Always wanted a drone but thought they were difficult to control. This Holy Stone model takes any doubt away! Extremely simple to get started and a huge amount of functionality for a drone of this price. I highly recommend this drone for anyone you won’t be disappointed 😎

Gave me a fright when it first took off and just went up about 30 feet but soon got the hang of the controls. Should enjoy using the drone in the future.

Es zeigte beim Laden ein permanentes Blinken an und wurde auch nicht von der Fernbedienung der Drohne erkannt. Daher habe ich diesen Retour geschickt und erneut bestellt.Der zweite Ersatzakku funktionier tadellos, lässt sich ganz normal aufladen und verlängert dadurch das "Flugabenteuer" durchaus.Empfehle es jedem, der gerne mal etwas länger als 20-30 Minuten fliegen möchte. Tatsächlich passen in die Box meiner HS360S auch direkt 2 Akkus, daher könnte man in der Theorie sogar 3 Akkus dort transportieren, einen in der Drohne und 2 als Ersatz.
