Backward compatibility
hansgrohe Finish Sets that are designed for installation with the previous iBox universal can also be installed on the hansgrohe iBox Universal 2. To enable this, an adapter is required and is available separately (#13588000).
Installation without the cutting
The new sliding sleeve is easy to slide in, no matter the depth at which the concealed base set is installed and means that cutting is no longer necessary. Installation is therefore fast and simple, with safety taken into consideration too.
Peace of mind waterproofing
To simplify the installation process even more, the pre-assembled sealing gaiter is firmly connected to the sliding sleeve, so it can't get lost or forgotten. It is permanently elastic and waterproof.
Fewer steps for easy installation
The integrated mounting ring allows the iBox 2 to be installed in, on, or in front of the wall. It can be attached at the front or rear, for easy mounting in any type of installation, with just a few standard tools needed for the job.
Flexible installation options
The base set has been designed to be rotationally symmetrical, with all connections identical. This gives you a flexible, error-free installation, as no matter which way you turn the iBox universal 2 - it fits!
