My next worry was that the flavor might not be great, but that fear was also unfounded as these taste just as you would expect....a perfect butterscotch hard candy.My only wish is that they were a little bit less expensive, especially when my grandma talks about buying them out of the penny candy barrels back in the day. Alas, the fun memories of old are alive and well...just at modern day prices. Still, they were worth the cost not only for my enjoyment but to see my grandmother light up with joy when we emptied the bag into a bowl to set on her kitchen counter.

Passable but not REALLY the same. I was not expecting the exact taste, but this brand starts out salty before mellowing to a slight-butterscotchy flavor. Cheap though :)
