The media could not be loaded. These are great quality tongs. They look and feel like premium kitchen equipment. They’re a good weight. Not remotely flimsy. The silicone heads are nice and firm and they feel comfortable to hold.Unlike normal tongs, the locking mechanism is on the side of these ones which means you can open and lock them with one hand.Dishwasher safe and heat resistant to 260°. I’d recommend.

The media could not be loaded. They are very well made and sturdy, and the one-hand operated lock is a game-changer. I used to have to use two hands to lock my old tongs, which was annoying and inconvenient. With these tongs, I can lock and unlock them with one hand, which is so much easier.

These feel good and well made. However, like most tongs of this type with the exposed inner side - it is difficult to clean effectively, and it won't take long to rust and build up gunk over time.Anything more than £10 for tongs should be able to solve this issue.

These 30cm KitchenAid tongs are fantastic and far superior to anything I've used in the past. They are perfect for handling larger sized portions of food, and they open out to approx. 16cm wide.I use tongs for so many things from turning bacon and mixing salads to removing the chips from the fryer, I find them a very practical and essential tool in the kitchen and I've used them for years. Having a top-quality pair like these just makes life a little easier and I would never go back to a cheaper pair now I’ve used these.The overall quality of them is excellent and they feel weighty, very well made and strong. They are comfortable to hold, easy to grip even with wet hands, the spring tension is just right, and my favourite feature is the slide lock which is a brilliant idea as it keeps the tongs closed so they don’t take up as much space when you’re not using them.Overall, I can’t recommend these tongs high enough and I think they represent very good value for money for what you are getting. They are easily worth the full five stars, buy with total confidence!

I returned these as I found them awkward to use but the main reasonwas the closing catch kept coming loose especially in the container Istore them in. They seem very expensive for the quality.

These 30 cm long stainless steel and silicone tipped tongs from KitchenAid brand are very well made and feel a decent weight in the hand, without feeling heavy. The mechanism of opening and closing is smooth and the silicone handles and ends are non slip and the ends are perfect for using with nonstick pans and airfryer drawers. They are, of course, dishwasher safe and come with a reassuring lifetime guarantee from KitchenAid, they certainly feel better quality than cheaper ones I’ve had before that break. These feel like they will last. I’m therefore genuinely happy to recommend them to you too.

These are huge but so much sturdier than the other tongs I’ve purchased.The ends and the sides are black siliconeThey’re comfortable to hold and reach easily into my air fryer.They can be locked in the closed positions by sliding one of the silicone strips on the handle.I’m really impressed with these especially compared to the cheap ones I’ve had before.

Do not recommend
As a loyal Kitchenaid customer, I hated these. The locking system was awful and would often close / jam while trying to use them. They are also on the heavier side. Returned these for a refund. Do not recommend.
