I brought this as a interactive advent calendar for the children. It worked perfectly for 2 days and was a great hit, but today it stopped working completely. The claw would freeze up way before the 60 countdown so kids weren’t able to get their treats. It’s a waste of money, changed the batteries and still not working. Don’t buy- it’s rubbish

Really poor toy for the kids. First item arrived with damaged parts so returned it. Second one came but the plastic screens for the sides do not fit with a gap inbetween the sides and the glass.Poorly made and will look to return again for refund

The media could not be loaded. Sad to report that this machine does not work sufficiently and is just poorly designed.The instructions - whilst looking detailed - weren't. They missed off basics ie removing the white film from the 'windows', which side the pink top goes on (not obvious) and the image of the black support bar shows it to be the hollow side up but it's the other way around! (See my pics) So it will barely move unless it's put the right way in.The claw is clumsy and doesn't go to any of the sides which is fine if you have toys that are twice the size of the ones they supply, but it just missed anything that's not in the centre so these small soft toys are pointlessThe soft toys are not anything ie not even keyrings and some have loose threads and hot glue showing. The quality is just so bad.Coupled with the random Christmas themed keyrings - it doesn't make any sense..why not have Xmas themed soft toys as well?When my coin ran out on the first grab on my video, I put a second coin in and it stopped after a few seconds and ended it. Obviously a fault but doesn't do it every time.Size wise it's a decent size and you could ignore the small gifts and fill it with slightly larger toys but you would need to check if the grabber would even be strong enough to lift them.It has music which you can change or turn the volume off completely.

Our little ones absolutely love claw machines at funfairs so they have really enjoyed play with their own with their own special coins.

My daughter asked Santa for this claw machine and after we put it together it didn’t work! I found all the bits very flimsy and not very robust!Was easy enough to put together but very disappointed when it wouldn’t work! We sent it back. Santa brought her something different!

The media could not be loaded. The grabber toy requires some assembly and this was easy to do.It needs 4 AA batteries to operate. There is also a USB lead included but I didn't try this.The photos on the box display the toy with it's contents. This makes it look very full of soft toys.In reality, the included toys barely cover the base.There's some Christmas themed keyrings and some quite cute stuffed fabric animal faces.Plastic coins are included and these have to be snapped away from the backing plastic.There are some flaws though. The small toys cover the entire base and the claw can't go completely to the edges of the machine so would be impossible to reach some of them. It needs some kind of upstand to keep the toys away from the edges.In use though, it is quite fun and strangely addictive. There are different tunes and you can turn them off as it does become irritating.The lid on the top is meant to slide forward and back to allow you to pop the toys back in. This doesn't actually work very well.I suppose you could add your own little extra toys to increase the fun aspect.It's expensive for what it is and some things could be better.

I have had no problems so far with this claw machine. To be honest I was surprised by some of he other reviews but maybe I have just been lucky. It is easy to assemble. My grandson who was obsessed by the claw machines on holiday absolutely loved it. You do need to be careful with it as I think it could potentially be easy to break. We found it worked best with larger toys than the ones supplied.
