5.0 out of 5 stars Better than oat!

Oat milk is high in the GI so I think the Soy milk is better for health. With no added seed oils it has to be good. The taste is okay, it really doesn't have a taste, the barista versions are always best.
5.0 out of 5 stars Doesn’t split and makes a very good froth.
Purchased over Christmas so that we could have hot white chocolate in the velvetiser I got. This milk doesn’t separate and froths very well. The milk has a nutty taste to it. The thickener is rice milk but you can’t taste this. The milk froths very well and doesn’t separate like normal almond milk. The colour is a title gray. This item doesn’t have sugar in it.Also it is organic.I will compare this to the Alpro and the Califia barista milks. Both of these have sugar in them. The califia doent froth at all. The Alpro is better but the Plenish is the winner out of all three barista style milks.I just wished they had had these types of milks 20 years back because it would have saved me a lot of bother with split milk.
5.0 out of 5 stars The BEST oat milk out there!
Wow...So for the past year or so now I've been trying to find the best milk to have in my coffees. I LOVE my coffees, so this was very important to me. As I like to avoid dairy for many reasons, I started off with Oatly Barista - I LOVED the taste of this one, it was so creamy and great in hot drinks, but I really could never vibe with any of the other oat milks that weren't the Barista version (found they were so watery and bleh)... However, over months of drinking Oatly Barista, I started to become aware of the unhealthiness of seed oils, of which Oatly Barista (and most other 'Barista' plant milks) have a very high amount of. I searched for oat milks that didn't contain these nasty added oils (and defo no added sugars), however I couldn't find any that had that creaminess and could froth up like the Barista versions could. UNTIL I found Plenish Oat Barista - Organic, good quality ingredients with NO added oils or added sugars, AND is a 'Barista' version!!! (The fat from the organic coconut cream is what makes it froth like barista versions). I have been using this product for a few days now and I LOVE IT - it froths up perfectly, it's very creamy, it's got a thick texture (to most watery oat milks), and it's amazing natural ingredients! My search is over, I have found the perfect tasting milk for my hot drinks that I can feel healthy whilst drinking. (fyi, I add a tsp or two of MCT oil to my coffees which has a whole other load of added benefits and makes it even creamier).I have no idea why this milk has received such negative reviews... Imo, Plenish is the only plant based milk out there right now that is really considering ALL the factors - taste, quality AND health. Thank you Plenish <3
1.0 out of 5 stars useless when heated, tastes vile, & gave me the runs/diarrhoea
applicable to both soya & oat barista versions.cold froth is the only way to get any half-decent foam — regular steam and even ‘extra’ settings give maybe 1cm of foam before it completely dissipates in 3 minutes. tastes alright when cold but has a horrid bile-like acidity to it when heated, which tastes utterly vile in hot coffee. gave me the runs/diarrhoea. not sure what to do with the other 5 cartons left, glad i only bought it at a discounted price — what a waste of money!
4.0 out of 5 stars A perfect compliment to coffee
Didn't know exactly what to expect, but this organic milk really does compliment the coffee made in my coffee maker. I cannot fault it as it Doesn't overpower the coffee flavour, it merely flatters the taste. But our sense of taste is such a personal and subjective experience I can only tell you of my coffee/milk journey, you will have yours.
3.0 out of 5 stars Not as creamy or frothable as others!
As a regular drinker of oat milk (in all hot drinks) I wanted to try Plenish for a change from other brands. I am a smidge disappointed. They are barista oat milks, however I would say these are very thin, do not seem to froth very well and generally just don't taste very creamy. In hot chocolate it's okay, nothing amazing, but for tea and coffee I will definitely be going back to one of the other brands. The taste is also quite different from other oat milks.
5.0 out of 5 stars My daily go-to milk for tea+coffee
Plenish Barista is really good quality and has a minimal and only necessary ingredient list- no additives, thickeners or preservatives. The only difference between Plenish Oat and Barista Oat is the coconut cream- you can achieve a nice little foam by either shaking the carton or using a coffee whisk and that’s why i opt for barista oat. I dont have to have to keep two types of milk. It tastes great in tea (you do need a bit more of it if you like your tea quite milky so leave space!) and i can foam it for coffee latte style. Great value for money too- I usually buy it on offer when it’s less than £12- it works out less that £2 a carton which is cheaper than going to my corner shop. And i prefer to spend 15/20p extra for the healthy ingredient list. Have switched from Oatly because the ingredients were mostly additives. Have been recommending to friends and family. It tastes fab too- it’s not too oaty but not bitter either.
2.0 out of 5 stars Not to my taste.
The consistency of this oat milk is akin to skimmed milk. Initially it has a slightly sweet taste that moves to a certain bitterness. The bitterness overall affects the taste of my coffee beans so I've got to give this a firm no thanks. In terms of viscosity, Plenish boast no oils and gums used in manufacturing - great idea, but makes their product very watery - froths well, but again, no thanks.
