My son takes these to school for break time workouts. They are more fun in a group and they call them ‘the dice of death’ due to some intense outcomes of the dice roll. Good, healthy competition and peer support with items that are so simple and easy to use.

My first impression of these exercise dice is that they're much bigger than I expected - around the size of a grapefruit. Though they're only printed on, the text is unlikely to fade or rub off with use. The edges of the dodecagon (a 12-sided shape) are a little untidy due to the moulding process, but it is only cosmetic. All the exercises are bodyweight only - and regular gym-goers would be familiar with most of the exercises (though mountain climbers and donkey kicks aren't ones I'm too familiar with). The exercise duration dice features both times and reps. There's enough variation here to keep a circuit training session interesting for a long while, and we find that getting other participants in the circuit to throw the dice for their training partner one at a time adds a real element of fun to their exercise session.I've also started using the duration dice with free weight exercises, and it works well if you adjust your weight to suit the duration - 25 reps of bicep curls with a weight that you can usually only manage 10 with isn't going to motivate you and is likely to lead to injury, of course.Overall, these are a great addition to your usual workout - especially if you are doing circuit training sessions with a partner. Great fun, decent quality - would definitely recommend.
