5.0 out of 5 stars Quick and easy fun
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Bought to pass time with my mum while she was in hospital. Was a brilliant buy.Takes basically no setting up, easily packed, has a good level of replay-ability, and each round is relatively quick. It would be suitable for children (and for adults - we all were) and I could also see it having an educational role in language teaching.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great travel game for young children.
This is a fun game to play with young children just learning their phonics. Some of the answers my daughter comes up with would have been instant hits in the 90s.It's very portable and easy to play on trains and planes. Highly recommend for travelling especially if you're concerned about the amount of screen time young children have.
4.0 out of 5 stars Fun, Quick and Easy to Learn
Back in my day, (were talking before internet existed) if you wanted to play a card game you had few options. Firstly, was an actual deck of playing cards, which has an almost infinite variety of game types to play, although without internet we couldn't look up the rules for any of them! Moving forward through time and Top Trumps were released and suddenly you could play a card game featuring your favorite motor vehicles, wrestlers or dinosaurs. Later still came Uno, the rules of which i still don't understand today. In my adult life, Cards Against Humanity was released and everything took a dark turn. I have learned things about my mum that I cant unthink. Nowadays the market is flooded with a vast variety of different types of card games. The lure is they are cheap and easy to manufacture, easy to store and with the option of expansion packs they can provide the opportunity of repeat custom. My daughter is now 9 years old (and being 9 she loses interest quickly) so I am always on the look out for a game with easy set up that doesnt take long and has quick replayability. Mousetrap is fine but it takes 15 minutes to set up, 20 minutes to play and then 3 hours to try and fit the pieces back into the box. There is nothing groundbreaking or new about this game. Word association has been around even longer than I have. These triangle shaped cards are printed on both sides, one side has 3 random categories, and the other side has 3 random letters. You simply flip over 3 cards from the center pile and have to find a word relating to the category that starts with the letter closest to it. I guess the uniqueness of this game is due to the shape of the cards. 3 random letters and 3 random words that can be placed down in any order leads to essentially an infinite amount of outcomes. Each time someone guesses correctly they take the card or 'pizza slice', and flip another over, revealing a whole new set of categories. The game is quite fast paced but you can slow it down by modifying the rules to suit the players e.g. shout out or take it in turns. The winner is the first to 6 slices and completes their pizza. We have played this multiple times since purchase and works well in a small or large group. The box and cards are built well and store away discreetly. This would be ideal to take away on holiday or for playing on a train or plane but i would imagine you may struggle playing in a car due to the nature of having to lay down the cards around the center pile. Overall this is a very fun game that takes no time at all to set up and learn, and this is the game my daughter continues to bring downstairs to ask to play.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great item/delivery
Great game “P is for Pizza” for both adults and kids. Gets kids away from screens for a little while; small and easy enough to travel with.Delivered quickly.Packaged well.Would I buy again? Yes
3.0 out of 5 stars Damaged
I bought these as gifts and they arrived with damage to their boxes so I returned them.In terms of the game itself, it is good fun and easy to set up and play. The size of the box is great for travelling or storing in a caravan/motorhome.I would recommend the product, just disappointing that it did not arrive in good condition.

(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } So easy and fun. Really great for travel. Kids love playing it and so do the adults in the family. Highly recommend.
Fun!
Great travel size game and lots of fun!
Fun for any age with some adjustments!
This is a great game for kids and adults of all ages! What seems like it should be easy actually turns into a very challenging game! For adults, we play is a competitive, rapid-fire way. For younger kids who are learning to read, you can actually play is a more collaborative style and build a pizza together! I also love that the game is plastic free.
Didn't like it
This game was a great travel size - but we found it confusing and didn't really enjoy playing it - you need to be sat very close to it and with the categories changing and people yelling out it was hectic - I returned it but it may be we didn't fully understand how to play it - you might like it better
It’s fun!
It’s educational (thinking). Fun for get togethers.
