This is a brilliant little lego kit for the money. My nearly 4 year old built it himself with supervision and has played with it lots. Play value is great. You can shoot out "water" from the helicopter and the propellers move.

With Lego you really know what you are getting. It's rare that you will ever come across a bad set and even the most simple builds are fun and interesting. So when it comes to rating them you have to look at value. Both monetary and in terms of play. Here we have a fire helicopter priced at the more affordable end of the market.In the box you have all the components in two separate bags and an instruction booklet. The instructions are easy to follow and a child should be able to complete the build with minimal help from an adult. The build is fairly typical for a helicopter. Though the rotors are different to other builds. The completed build is quite nice. You have the helicopter and single minifig. The helicopter is fitted with a stud shooter, that fires clear blue studs to simulate water. While I am sure there is plenty of fun to be had with it, as a child I know I would have preferred more realism with some form of hose.This is a nice little set at a reasonable price. However I always feel that these entry level sets should stand alone. To me this feels like something you would buy to supplement your existing Lego City Fire service.
