I needed to replace my old Toshiba laptop, and didn't realize they were nowhere to be found. I was skeptical about Asus, having never really seen anyone with one or really not knowing the company, but they did not disappoint me.Besides being so much lighter than my old one, it's so compact, with a very bright, clear, screen. Your palms can be on the edge of it while you're typing and it won't work jump all over the page. Unlike my old one and a new other brand (won't mention names), that screwed up anything you were typing if your hand or hands were on the base, and NOT on the touchpad. Very annoying.Being a retired teacher and using this for my writing and some research I am very pleased.I would have liked a numbers keys separately (hard to teach an old dog new tricks), but I do prefer its being compact instead.Of course, being new it has great speed. I'll revisit this when I've loaded it with more work and advise if it changed.As far as gaming, I play on my phone for relaxation, so I'm clueless as to the needs of gamers! Lol

SMALL INEXPENSIVE AND WORKS GREAT.
I consider this little guy a good score. I bought it to travel with, do everyday general things, but mainly to be able to download and view photos. It serves me well. Nice screen and definitely bright enough. For the money, I consider it well worth it.

Great laptop, BUT.....
Specs listed are not correct, laptop is 1920x1200 60hz, not what was advertised, however the laptop is a little power house with quite the bang for the buck, screen still looks great with an oled panel, customer service was quick and kind, speakers on this think are kinda crazy for the size and price point, suck ram is soldered so no upgrading there. Quite the beast for the cost though so can't complain a whole lot I am happy with my purchase.
