Male DVI to Male USB-C Adapter Cable
This 6 foot (1.8 m) cable adapter is made for USB-C to DVI-D Dual Link signal transfer. This means it supports signal from USB-C to DVI and not the other way around. The adapter can be primarily used to connect your USB-C device to a DVI monitor or display.
The cable convertor has a Male DVI-D Dual Link connector at one end. This connector can be connected to either a Female DVI-D (Dual Link) or a Female DVI-I (Dual Link) port.
The cable has a PVC outer layer which increases durability and gold-plated connectors for optimal signal transfer and resists corrosion.
Important: Both the USB-C connector and the DVI-D (Dual Link) connector are Male.
High Resolution Video Transfer
The USB-C to DVI cable uses a DVI-D Dual Link connector which supports resolutions up to 1080p Full HD (60Hz). It is important to note that all DVI connectors only transmit video signals, not audio signals.
Compatibility
This Male USB-C to Male DVI-D cable convertor connects USB-C output source device to a monitor with a Female DVI-D (Dual Link) or DVI-I (Dual Link) input.

I'm using this to take a USB-C video output from a new server I built and run the signal to my aging monitor. It's allowing me to still utilise a perfectly capable monitor without the need to constantly VLC or remote desktop into the server.Picture quality is fine, although I have to admit being a server it's not running any games or much video content through it. However even with full 1080P HD movies the picture seems fine. No glitches or artefacts that I can see.Good length to it too. Sturdy connectors and the cable isn't too stiff, meaning it can be run where you want it.

Decent product
I bought this because I have an older monitor that doesn't support the more modern HDMI or DP interfaces but I have newer computers and peripherals that don't have DVI ports.This fantastically gives me the ease to not have to daisy chain dongles and converters and it wasn't too expensive either.It's great!
