Purchased for a fancy dress costume and it looks great, however It came with an orange plug in the end but it was easy to prise out to make it look more realistic. I was surprised at the quality for the price paid. Very pleased with it.

Perfect for fancy dress or similar. Hammer cocks and the rest of the mechanism moves as authentically as you could expect for a few quid.

Has a spring trigger so you can pull back the hammer and "shoot" your friends with it when you're drunk at 3 in the morning. Fell apart almost immediately after Halloween but was worth the low price for a laugh.

The obvious orange cap that's glued to the end isn't in any of the product images provided or description. It is cheap plastic, but it has moving parts that allow you to pull the trigger. I got this to be part of a steampunk costume, so will have to modify to cover the orange bit and very obvious screw holes. However, I didn't expect to actually beable to pull the trigger, which was a nice surprise. And the price is actually fairly reasonable considering its more then just for show. I honestly couldn't find a flint lock pistol anywhere else I looked, so this is actually better then I expected given how cheap it was. Still disappointed by the orange cap though. Thought I'd only have to spread paint it, not have to try to put a hole in the end.

I nearly didn't buy this due to the other reviews saying about the orange plug on the end of it.........Just take it off.....?? (Literally just pulls off, no tools needed)Anyway, perfect for my pirate costume and better quality the other pistols I've seen. Plus it fake shoots.

This gun is fab- can cock it and shoot- only time will tell how durable it is but we're having fun...Extremely decorative, seems sturdy enough and great for a pirate party for all ages-says 14+ on the packet so watch little fingers with it.Looks like a good blunderbuss ☺️ very happy.Little expensive as I've seen similar from local fancy dress shop for £3.99 but this was delivered quicker and needed for a deadline..
