I have a self build 2012 Mercedes Sprinter that holds approximately 11 litres of engine oil, in the past its been put on high levelling ramps but even then its not the easiest task to perform.Time for a change, I probably spent a couple of evenings looking at various size and makes and most reviews came up with the same shortfall, the nylon/plastic oil extraction pipes were to short, not this one, this has something like a metre long plastic/nylon metal coil reinforced hose thats cleverly secured to the main pump body by two "o" rings and a tapered thumb wheel, on the end of this hose is an adapter for securing the required diameter dipstick hose. The combined length of the hoses allows the vacuum suction pump container to sit safely on the floor, place the hose in the dipstick tube, four or five pumps and wait, the container holds 5.3 litres so I had to perform the operation twice, but I found it to advantageous as decanting into a waste container was far easier than a larger amount.No mess no fuss value of money, easy to use, well made, a great product

After years of changing oil lying underneath my cars I splashed out on this - wow, what an improvement. No mess, no getting oil up my sleeve as I undo the sump plug. Absolutely a breeze to change oil now. I checked out various models before choosing this one. It is nice and sturdy and the tubes are long enough (mentioned as an issue on some models) to reach to the bottom of the sump on my car. My biggest regret? - Not buying this 20 years ago!

Works well through the dip stick tube but can take some time to empty owing to the size of the tube. Held the used oil securely without a mess. Need to heed the warning about catching one's hand under the pump handle.

First piece of advice, warm the engine so the oil becomes more fluid. Then this pump will suck the oil very efficiently out of the sump with no mess. It's well built and the design is excellent. Glad I went with this one over the cheaper alternatives.

This is a must have for any DIY mechanics. This saved me time, money and sanity. It made servicing my car a breeze and bleeding the brakes a dream. I genuinely don’t know how I lasted without this tool before.I will tell anyone who will listen how amazing this is.

Hi there is no air control valve on the oil changer which I received this seems to be missing as there is just a hole with a loose tube in it as on the photo attached?

Brilliant bit if kit. A driveway oil change was a real pain on my Berlingo van as the undertray had to be removed . What used to take an hour and a half took 25 minutes. Much cleaner way to change oil.

Bought this as getting a bit old for getting under cars now.Tried to use on my BMW e91, didn't get all the oil out of the car.Tried on Mrs Rav4 wouldn't reach the oil.This might be me but if so not easy too use.

Muy buen producto,Lo usé para sacar aceite de ejes 75w140, y lo aspiro todo. Cuando desmonté la tapa del eje trasero (Jeep gran Cherokee 3.0), para comprobar cómo lo dejo me sorprendió y no dejó ni una gota. Con esta herramienta no volveré a desmontar la tapa del eje.

Elementare da usare e davvero utile
Prodotto arrivato nei tempi previsti. Io ho acquistato la versione manuale e pneumatica avendo a disposizione il compressore d’aria ma va perfettamente bene in manuale. Due o tre minuti al massimo per svuotare la coppa dell’olio con circa 5 kg di capienza, con olio in temperatura e temperatura liquido refrigerante a 90 gradi. In pratica fate un giro con la vettura e come l’indicatore temperatura motore si porta a regime, rientrate e aspirate l’olio. Il foglio di istruzioni allegato è sintetico e in inglese ma è tutto intuitivo. Vi lascio le foto di quello a cui dovete porre attenzione. La foto cerchiata di rosso indica un tappino che fate attenzione a non perdere e lasciatelo inserito, altrimenti non si crea il vuoto di aspirazione. La tenuta del tappo è abbastanza lasca ma fa il suo dovere, eventualmente se volete, passate un filo di grasso sui due o-ring del tappino e reinseritelo . La seconda foto indica come lasciare la posizione del rubinetto ( se avete preso la versione anche pneumatica) durante l’utilizzo in manuale. Al termine dell’operazione svitare la ghiera in ingresso di aspirazione ( dove avete collegato il tubo che aspira l’olio) e potete versare il liquido aspirato in un contenitore ( consiglio per l’olio di farlo a caldo) consegnatelo poi alla vostra isola ecologica di zona. Ottimo attrezzo per il cambio olio motore intermedio senza cambiare il filtro. Personalmente cambio l’olio ogni 10.000 km una volta solo olio e la seconda olio e filtro. Consiglio assolutamente il prodotto. Spero di essere stato chiaro e utile.
